Some of us have been through terrible divorces, not because we wanted to, but because we were cheated on, and/or the ex wanted to leave just… cause. Some of us don’t want to lose half or more of our possessions again, and some of us don’t want to have another family only for the state to decide that we aren’t allowed to be a part of our children’s lives. 80% of divorces are initiated by women, and it’s up to 90% if they’re college educated. It’s not that we don’t want to get married or have a family a lot of us do. It’s just that we don’t want to sign another contract with a govt that allows someone to leave, and take everything cause the butterflies went away. Religion won’t save anyone on this show from that happening. If your wife is determined to leave, she _will_ leave, and you’ll have no recourse whatsoever to stop it from happening. It’s happened to us… a lot of us, but we aren’t willing to take that chance again until the laws are thrown out. Some of the men in the “going your own way movement” of which you mentioned are _not_ the standard- they are the exception not the rule. The bravado type guys are the loudest so they get a lot of the attention from people, and organizations that want to make men’s movements look bad. Remember, the Daily Wire crew smoke stogies, and drink whiskey pretending to be modern “Mad Men,” but they’re just LARPing as what they think a “real man” should look like. Those guys are playing the same sort of game as the bravado types, grifting money while really doing nothing for the good of men.

We Celebrated 24 years of marriage in fact just yesterday ~ April 8 2000 I Thank God every day that he has blessed me with Life, a wife, children, and with Love. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." ~ Genesis 2:24 It is the unity of the two becoming one, which is the lost and/or forgotten vow in all failed marriages! Marriage isn't a tax benefit, it isn't a financial position or even a $solution. If you're not able to accept the mistakes & the consequences that comes along with them and you're willing to just bail at the first hint of just a little turbulence ahead - in anything in life.... Marriage won't work

That probably can’t happen until it’s legally possible to talk about that control freak Cary Katz, or maybe Mark Styne can foot the bill for Jared & Crowder to take him on in court so that they can finally get 100% of their free speech rights back. Fuck that creepy gambler! If Obama had left the gambling industry alone, Katz wouldn’t have given two shits about the Conservative movement.

Don't know if it was taken from the Bible or not, but there's a lyric from the Kansas song NO ONE TOGETHER that fits your conversation. Its, "The multitudes are searching and wandering in vein, for what they seek cannot be found in men". Ya gotta get your pearls of wisdom from wherever you can.

Where did the Dean Cain clip come from? I needed to hear that right now. Not sure how I found the podcast. I'm not sure how come S isn't part of the gang. I'm not sure how I got separated from LWC. I have spent the past 5 years feeling like Joseph & Job, before the "good stuff" happens & finding you 3 here, with some Dean Cain sprinkles, is perfect with my morning coffee.

40:47 that fear only gets worse imo. as my kids become teenagers and I remember all the stupid things that I did that almost killed me when I was 16-20 and the things my friends did that did get them killed. i want to find a way to instill a little more wisdom in my kids than i had, but not constrain them to the point that they want to rebel and do even worse things.

What is interesting about the statue that you missed, is The caduceus (medical symbol of two snakes) near his buckle area. That with little the boy and girl on each side, hinting the targeting of children by medical profession.

Nah, that entire thing was a troll to make a point about the separation of church and state. Some state legislature put up a monument to the ten commandments on the lawn of the capital building. Turns out it's illegal for the government to officially endorse one religion. They either had to take the commandment monument down, or allow other religious monuments to also be put up. The legislature chose to allow other religious monuments to be put up, thinking that no one else would do so. A bunch of libertarian atheists got together and decided the best way to make the point that religious monuments should not be allowed on government grounds was to make this statue and attempt to put it up.

@@spracketskoochthis may be true on the surface but it goes much deeper than that. If you know you know. That statue has been worshipped for thousands of years and OP is right. The type of people with the money and influence to create a 9ft tall statue didnt do it to own the christians.
