Kate McKinnon has kept SNL together for years now. Not on her own but she was a huge part of it. I always knew I was going to laugh as long as Kate was in a skit or scene and she usually was. excited to see what she does next!

Kate in the Close Encounter skits on SNL were some of the most hilarious I've ever seen. The guests almost always broke character and she kept it together like a pro.

I love Kate McKinnon. She was my favorite cast member. Can't wait to see what's next!

This woman can now do anything she wants. Her unbelievable mad scientist in the lady filled ghostbuster. Her unbelievable skits on SNL, her stand up performances. I will miss Kate M on SNL. But she has no were to go but up.

She was comedy gold on SNL. Those Close Encounters skits were hilarious.

Whoever did Kate’s makeup totally nailed it, she looks so good

What a comedic genius. Love the reverse tuxedo.

Kate McKinnon is so funny and care free to make an ass out of herself to make the audience have a good chuckle or two and I can see why people would like her as a comedian on Saturday Night Live . And I can also see why she is would have a role in Dc League of Super Pets she’s so funny.

You know, I don't think I brought this up, but in an ironic way, Lex Luthor, who did crazy mad scientist shit on a guinea pig, was voiced by an actor that previously played another criminal who indulged in eating guinea pigs.

I think she’s earned her spot at the table of the SNL Hall of Fame. This girl is a legend 😂. All jokes, but srsly she has earned herself the respect as one of the greats. She’s deff one of the best & I would put her right there with Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, Chris Farley, Bill Murray lol. I do think she’s up there. She’s earned it. 👏🏻

For those on here talking about the Close Encounters recurring sketch - Kate recently did a long interview on a podcast called Good One going into the history of them writing and performing that character. She credits Mikey Day for knowing her so well and basically just writing it in her actual voice. But it’s an interesting episode for any Kate fans.

I adore Kate McKinnon. She is superb at anything she does. I rewatch her SNL performances and enjoy them as much as I did first time around. She’s a once-in-a-generation talent.

I love Kate. She's the best part of SNL in the last few years. ♥♥♥

She ruled SNL, but she definitely has a huge place in voiceover. So excited for her.

Watching her on SNL had been so interesting and amazing. She grew so much in talent and recognition during what I believe to be the post-Tina Fey/Amy Poehler/Bill Hader/Seth Meyers/co era. The moment all those giants left, I couldn’t think of a singular star besides Kate and Kenan (I hope he never retires SNL, but then… lol… ).

Spotted Lanternflies aren't any joke, here in York Pennsylvania they're everywhere. Kudos to Jimmy and Kate for raising awareness.

Holy moly the performance in episode One of her as Carole Baskin was amazing. She was, by far, the most memorable member for that cast for me.. (except Keenan lol but I don't think that counts). I've never given up on SNL since growing up with the likes of Sandler, Farley, Hartman, Ferrel, Rock, Myers, Carvey, NORM, Kevin Nealon... Good lord...not one woman lol. Now, I feel that Poehler, Fey and Kate have been holding that energy together. big shoes to fill

hahaha when I was a little girl, my grandparents grew some grape trees in the garden. And we had to fight with this kind of bugs every year. In China it has a name that translates into “flowery bean lady”. The name sounds beautiful but I have been scared of the bugs since childhood😂. It’s amazing to see that Kate could find it’s beauty.
