As an Israeli citizen I can tell you that you should do what you think and not listen to anyone. Even if you chose not to respond to the Israeli song, that is your full right. I can say that I am very sorry for you that you do not respond to the Israeli song because like many others in Europe you see Israel as an aggressive country when the situation is exactly the opposite.
