For those who (perhaps) don't know, the ramonda is our endemic flower species (Ramonda Serbica) and a symbol of the suffering of the Serbs in World War I against Austria-Hungary, i.e. Armistice Day (November 11, 1918) and the final victory. Ramonda is a symbol of Serbia, victory, rebirth and eternity. It is also called the phoenix flower, because it is specific in that it can dry up, and only one drop of water is enough to revive it completely. It was discovered by Josif Pancic in 1874, on Mount Rtanj, near Sokobanja. The song of Teye Dora has strong symbolism, good music with traditional (Byzantine and Serbian) elements, arrangement and text, and in the text I especially like the (Serbian) motifs of the star Danica and Ramonda, as well as the beginning, whose rhythmicity and parallelism are very they remind us of our folk (oral) literature.
