Easily one of the most creative band in that alt/prog genre (or whatever title you want to give their music). Been listening to all sort of metal music for 20 years and I have to say I hadn't been that captivated in a loooong time when I heard them first. My fav track on this record is still Shutterspeed. Practically summarises what I like about metal! I'd love to meet these guys they sound genuine. Fresh air lads, all the way.

He wrote Themata when he was 18??? Are u kidding me? This is without any trouble one of the most mature records i ever listened to and he did it after he left high school?? Alright I'm done, see ya, if you search for me I'm hiding in some corner of the darkest cave I can find.

So crazy they recorded this so young and with what looks like no structure. But they turned out one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. For me it is by FAR their best album. Themata is almost the only album I’ve listened to the last couple weeks. It’s one of those albums you can hear again and again and it just gets better. Frothing

I know im beating a dead horse here but I wish vool would go back to there roots a little and make a more straight forward rock album like themata or the persona ep. I love all there records for different reasons and I know as a musician that if you don't strive to try new things and change it up it becomes stale. I also know the guys don't go in saying this is the type of album we want to make its more of an organic process. So i guess I just hope maybe the planets align and they come full circle on the next album.

Doesn't have to be straightforward, just give us a few tastes of the groove / riff combos like Roquefort, Themata, COTE. Slow ambient stuff is great, I just don't want it exclusively

God gave us the ten commandments so that we have the knowledge of sin. He revealed to man by the law how we should live before a Holy God. Now all stand guilty before God with no way to justify ourselves because of this knowledge. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. No one can live up to the standard that God has set for us. We as sinners can never meet those requirements, but Jesus, being in the form of God and equal with God came in the righteousness of God, Being perfect in Holiness He fulfilled those requirements for us and willingly became the substitute for the wrath of the Father which was met to be poured out on us, the ones who could not fulfill the Fathers standard of holiness. Jesus died in our place, taking our sin upon Himself. The Lord placed on Him the iniquity of us all. Then in three days Jesus rose from the grave by His own power, proving He was God in the flesh and that He had suceeded in paying our dept of sin. By Jesus paying our penalty in death He frees us from the sin that so easily ensnared us by giving us His righteousness, the Holy Spirit by which He overcome the sin of this world, but only to those who believe in Him and trust in His work of the cross. Its thanks to Christ righteousness alone that believers can come to the throne of the Father with praise! Through the Fathers plan Jesus has restored us to a proper relationship with the Him! Now we are Justified by Faith apart from the deeds of the law and are no longer called sinners, but SAINTS! It is the goodness of God that leads you to REPENTANCE!
