He's the first combo old school/new school center: he has nice post moves, rim protection rebounding etc, but he is also comfortable at three point range and defending the perimeter.

He's playing like this and he's only 20 years old. He's not even at his prime yet! He's just playing with skills that he got from college. Now that he got some sick coaching from KG, he will dominate for so many seasons... This guy goes to other NBA games to learn. To me, that's the ultimate sign of humbleness and next level mind set to be the greatest.

The most polished Rookie I've seen in a while... Looks like he's been in the NBA for a decade already.

Tbh its the when i liked him most. Aggressive in the paint and showing willingness to drive instead of just chucking up shots. Also solid at everything else and have a great mindset on both ends more than a rookie suppose to have. Its sad he never reached his potential, not even a stable second option.

He reminds me of a young Kevin Garnett post wise though (surprisingly both in the t wolves their rookie season). He has a shot in the midrange but he definitely has a bright future. Could be a next LeBron James only that towns is more of a shooter. Still his defense is beast. He's gonna have a bright future.

am I the only one that sees crazy amounts of Olajuwon in his game. I haven't seen a center play this athletically since Hakeem killed Robinson in the playoffs. His post moves are unparalleled in this age of NBA

20/10 next season just needs to work on p&r defense

He's going to have a hell of a season. Remember he avg 18 and 10 in only 32 min a night. Thibs is known to ride his starters. KAT is playing no less than 38-40 min a night under Thibs. I see him avg 22 and 12 and 1.5 blocks. REMEMBER THIS POST!

Lebron is the reason I love basketball. Off pure basketball skill and talent. Kat is a better player than he was as a rookie and that's saying ALOT. I can't think of anyone that has come out to be honest that I've ever seen have the mid-range, 3 point shot, ability to take you off the dribble at his size with impeccable footwork. I mean really something that you have to appreciate because he's a rookie with maybe the best footwork in the game. Shout out to KG for coaching his ability as well as mentality because I think he might go down as one of the most dominant players of all time.
