Everyone is sick and tired of you having our animals put down, you vandalize our vehicles, you glaring at us for no reason. We sincerely hope that your new neighbors will treat you just as you have treated us. I would say that I’m sorry you had to change your locks, suddenly get overrun by mice and had an allergic reaction to pepper spray and that all the neighbors treated your perspective buyers just like you’ve treated us over the years, but we allowed Karma to bite you in the butt. We would invite you to join our block party to celebrate your moving, but the piñata is going to look just like you.

Story 3: OP needs to realize that this (fights, yelling, crying, rage, drunken insults, accusations, etc.) will be his life from now on unless they go completely NC with his fiancée's horrible parents. When they get married they should absolutely NOT invite her parents, and if she's unwilling to go NC, he should consider breaking up with her for the sake of his own sanity.

Last story: It is quite simple, if OP's fiancée cannot set the boundary then OP leaves. There is no way anyone should take that level of disrespect but to have it then transfer over to their family. No. The answer is simple: OP tells the fiancée to set the boundary or he leaves. OP does not need or deserve to be disrespected and the same with their mother. If the fiancée cannot stop being a "yes man" then that is on her and she is not ready for a serious commitment like marriage.

Perhaps a better way would've been to have all the neighbors setup multiple cameras to record all the wrong-doings the Karen was doing and ensure she is held accountable for every single one of them. However, I think it is reasonable to conclude that poisoning someone with pepper spray, causing a rodent infestation, and overall harassment is a pretty asshole move. I’m not claiming I’m better than that person in the first story because I am definitely going to use the pepper spray method once in my life. All I am trying to say is you can appreciate somebody’s work, while still acknowledging that it is an asshole move to assault people

In the first story the karen mostly deserves it but the part when the op lets 100 pet mice in just to get exterminated is way to far. So I agree with am I the jerk

Story 1: Yeah.....you are all the jerks here! No sides are being taken! If I were you, I'd stay tight lipped about it because NOW Karen WOULD have a reason to press charges. Story 2: Since she wants to open up that can of worms by making you pay for the membership, cut the membership. Then she'll learn the hard way. Story 3: I think you may just have to break the sticks with her. Its obvious that she still hasn't found herself yet. When she has found herself and she is ready to get help, set boundaries and move on....then you can re-consider coming back.

Honestly not even that for story 3. Because all that will happen is the family members will hold resentment toward OP. If he leaves that is it unless they go direct no contact. OP needs to give an ultimatum. Right now she knows OP will be around regardless of what the parents do. As soon as that is threatened it will either get her to take the steps needed to set boundaries or she will crack and OP will need to break it off.

Story 1: The original poster is NOT the jerk whatsoever, that Karen deserved everything that came her way, imagine your pet, who you love like your KID gets kidnapped and MURDERED, so how is he not the jerk for putting tons of mice in her basement, that was not a good conclusion for the first story, she should be in jail or worse. . .

Their mice, they taste alright I guess but beyond that their a pain in the butt when their loose in your home and they eat and ransack $600+ of food, toughen up the only life better then an animal is humans and thats a stretch except for dogs all of them are better then us

Idk how you people don’t see OP as a jerk as well. Yes the Karen was a jerk for what she did to his car, but that is all she did to him. He just took the word of a random neighbor without any proof at all and started getting revenge for things that never happened to him. Could the Karen have done all those things, yes maybe she did, but OP doesn’t know that. He doesn’t even live in this neighborhood. He literally assaulted her and sent her to the hospital, and possibly infested a whole neighborhood with mice.

First story-- Dude was the jerk for allowing 100 innocent mice to be put down that way. Even if they were feeder Mice, that blatant disregard for that many lives is unacceptable.

4:56-5:00 the first guy was fully right if a person put down MY Dog the person would Either come home to an empty house or not have a house to go to.

First story opinion: I’m surprised that nobody had broken her arms and legs after sending people’s pets to the pound where they got out down. You put down my pet, I trap you in a prison of your own flesh and leave you to suffer for the rest of your natural life plus as much as I can extend your suffering and deepen your pain. I’m not a violent person, but attacking the innocent especially without reason is far past the line.

2nd Story: OP needs to stop being his ex's doormat. He's letting an emotionally abusive ex-partner dictate what he does, what he says, what he thinks, etc. She's an ex now, so she gets no say in what OP spends his money on, what he does with his time, or whom he spends his time with. OP needs to block the ex on every single app and platform, as well as blocking their phone number. They need to turn off any and all apps that are showing their location to the ex, and they need to cancel her membership (and let the gym know that she's no longer welcome to use his membership or access his information from them), he also needs to change all passwords for apps like netflix, prime, facebook, etc and force sign out all devices. She's manipulative and he's enabling her abuse towards him by never standing up for himself or sticking to his decisions. I'd also suggest therapy, he needs therapy because it's not normal nor healthy to let others abuse you repeatedly.

I disagree, I loved the first story... You can bet your bottom dollar that this neighborhood isn't the first that she terrorized, but maybe it will be the last... Karen was clearly the BIGGER JERK... Karma comes in so many flavors!

Now, I can see why some would think the OP is a jerk here, but honestly, considering how absolutely horrible this Karen is, it is 100% justified and im surprised it didnt go further then what was said here. There are a lot of people that would've done some very bad things to her if they found that out. Story 2: The OP's heart is way too big here.... the gf is a complete jerk and psycho here. Shes clearly manipulative, a liar, and used the OP for pretty much everything, emotionally and financially. The OP really should've left her sooner. Also, cancel both gym memberships, screw her. Story 3: These parents are terrible people. The fact that they "demand" respect is all the reason why they shouldn't get it, especially with how it was described. With the way those parents are acting to pretty much everyone, i'm surprised that there is any contact with them. The only boundary you need is pretty much no contact with them.

Mice can have up to 10 litters a year with up to 14 babies each time. They multiply so quickly so I guess that’s why they were so hard to get rid of?

Anyway I divorced the parents from everything and take it up with the lawyer? And the guy who girl cheated? I’m pretty sure it is jaded morals to kill someone because they killed your pet. It doesn’t even fit with the eye for an eye philosophy which is already considered pretty unmoral with the fact that you can cut off a thieves hand so they can never steal or work again despite the fact that they could be trying to feed their family.

Am I the jerk for telling somebody to stop being toxic after they get heated at me? Here’s how it happened. So I take the bus to school I’m a well behaved 4th grader but I have switched buses ALOT. But on my first bus there was one kid who I’m gonna call slone. So on my old bus there was these 2 kindergartners that were twins but I sat with them for 2 weeks but slone was sick and when he came back he actually sat WITH the kindergartners and when he found out I sat there OH.HE.GOT.HEATED The second he saw me he said: Don’t you DARE sit in my seat again kid! But then I said “stop being toxic” The rest of the bus ride was normal but when got in the lunch line he kicked me in the stomach
