Imagine you're interviewing one of your heroes and in the middle of that, the person says you're carrying on the legacy of a sorely-missed juggernaut of your field. The minute she got some privacy, I bet she either cried, screamed, or both at the same time. Anyway, I hope that hearing from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar about activism helps more folks get involved.

really?? Technically, it was a terrible interview, the interviewer spoke more than the interviewee, and barely asked any actual questions! BUT - I loved every minute. It was wonderful listening to a couple of genuine people chat to each other about wonderful things. And watch Sarah getting flustered and fangirling hard, lol

Very 1st day on the job type interview. At her level, it's almost inexcusable.

I love this amazingly great beautiful human being. As an athlete but even more so as a person. I think of him and think of Roberto Clemente, both of them amazing athletes but in a whole new class as human beings, always looking out for others not just themselves.

This is awesome that it wasn't an interview, but more of Sarah meeting her idol , and Kareem is very much, the embodiment of humbleness, and being a class act

What a profoundly Human being Kareem is! I so admire him and how he's spent his life's work trying to make this a better place. Love Sarah as a host, too. She has the potential to bring back some of the gravitas of the Stewart years.

I loved Sarah interview style. At first I thought it was awkward but actually I loved Sarah's organic energy. Sarah has such a beautiful energy and that Robin Williams compliment to Sarah from Kareem was such a gem 💎 Sarah will grow and appreciate that later.
