I love how KARE has kept that 11 logo for so long.

I met Diana Pierce, Sven Sungaard, Tim McNiff, Julie Nelson, Alicia Lewis and Belinda Jensen at the Minnesota State Fair because I go there every year. And yes, I made some cameo appearances during the news at the state fair.

"The Mary Tyler Moore Show" is my favorite TV show for 7 seasons in a row.

I miss KARE 11.

Rupert Murdoch bought Metromedia's stations in the 80's and used them to create the Fox network.

Bluntly, Rupert Murdoch happened, and he used it to form the Fox Television network. Though he sold other stations he didn't want.

Idk how that possible when Gannett/TEGNA owned KUSA, WXIA, KPNX longer than KARE.

Most television stations don't say stuff like NBC 11 and ABC7 Eyewitness News in other cities in the United States. Why'd didn't they say the names of the other television stations like KOAT TV ABC7 Action News or WXYZ ABC7 Action News? That's really lame.

Because every market is different and it used to be O&Os would used the affiliate/channel number as branding. Every market shouldn’t use ABC 7 or NBC4, CBS2 . WXYZ has always be Channel 7 or Channel 7 Action News. KARE call letters were WTCN- WUSA- KARE and KARE 11 NEWS /KARE 11 is perfect branding
