Who put the NBC jingle?

Say what you want about his later work as a talk show host; Jerry Springer and Norma Rashid were the GOLD STANDARD of anchor teams in the 80s. They were pulling down a 35 SHARE in the ratings. Everyone watched 5.

WLWT's callsign is not to be confused with defunct UK weekend block on Thames/Carlton called London Weekend Television.

London Weekend Television was a separate franchise from Thames/Carlton, preceded by Rediffusion/ATV until 1968. Prior to 1968, two other regions of England also had weekday/weekend splits: Granada/ABC in the north and ATV/ABC in the Midlands. In the early days (Crosley/AVCO), WLWT was rendered as WLW-T, and its sister stations were WLW-I Indianapolis, WLW-D Dayton and WLW-A Atlanta.

11:00-12:08 Sounds like WBAL TV 11.

Ken Broo worked at all (3) stations....5, 12, 9 in that order

Prior to Cincinnati Ken worked for WTSP 10 in Tampa Bay, around 1984-1986.

WLWT, the NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, OH is owned by Hearst Television. WLWT is the sister station to CBS affiliate WLKY in Louisville, KY.

@@1thetvzone sorry for the late respond the way how it was my mom would go to 5 in the morning then as a 4 year old my grandma would watch 12 at noon then around 5 it was channel 9 then ten was 19 then 11 until jerry left it was 5
