Actually that was the play. Kelce was a decoy. Kelce had just rumbled up the middle taking defensive players with him. Mahomes eyes was on the middle. Hardman was coming to the middle and the back that had Hardman read that as well and started drifting toward the middle. Hardman reversed courses and became wide open. Just like they drew it up. I think that play was called Corn Dog. Agree fantastic win!

Biggest mistake (for SF) on that drive was the 4th & 1 play..... BOSA didn't respect Mahomes running ability and thought for sure Pacheco was going to get the ball....in doing so, he keyed on and over pursuited Pacheco and didn't stay home to contain the right side, leaving a huge lane for Mahomes to run and got the 1st down.

Actually it hurt them. After S.F. kicked the Field Goal in overtime, the only way S.F. could lose the game was to allow a touchdown when the Chief's got the ball. Therefore their goal was to not allow the Chief to score a touchdown. Therefore they correctly played to not let anyone get behind them. And yes Mahomes has thrown 75 yard touchdowns. But now they WOULD win if the Chief turn the ball over on a fumble, interception, or own downs. If the chiefs made a field goal. S.F. would get the ball with a tie score and the first team that scored would win. The bad spot of the ball got S.F. to crowd the line and attempt to stop the chief again on 3rd down when the chief would likely attempt a near certain field goal which would give the ball to S.F. for certain death. But in avoiding the touchdown there was a big gap between the line and the defensive backs. Breaking through the line Mahomes rumbled for 15 yards. Had the ball been spotted correctly, S.F. would have an opportunity to stop S.F. much further up field on the 20 plus line.

This game was won in the midfield after the Scantling mess up. 1) niners play way too soft and 2nd and long 2) 3rd down. Mahomes makes a perfect pass to Rice, hits him in stride. If I may, it was Montana-esque...reminds me of a similar big play to 'the other' Rice in the second Bengals super bowl.

Once a player moves to go in motion, they must reset themselves by coming to a rest and facing the defense before the snap. Not resetting is illegal and results in a five-yard penalty for an illegal shift. I love how Kelce knew it was a touchdown and hardly even threw a block on the last play. That’s confidence in your play design and calls…Andy Reid put together one masterful final drive and Mahomes executed it perfectly. Still think there is heavy rigging in the NFL - knew the chiefs were going to win the first week of the Taylor Swift stuff…but there’s no way you can script everything and that was well done

There was 37 seconds left when kelce got the 1st down with 2 timeouts. Interesting how they let the play clock get down below 10 to hike this ball. Let's say he doesn't catch it you'd think they would want as many tries as possible before kicking the field goal. Woulda been very interesting call had he dropped that ball.

Jeez, people get mean quickly on the commentors ... I'm with you @camarmstrong6990 ... I have been an NFL fan for 40+ years, and I didn't realize that there was no pressure on KC to score points at the end of the overtime period there. I was yelling at the TV. And, as we all have been able to hear the many radio and TV announcers, they either were like me and didn't know, or explained it poorly. Of course at the time, I wasn't listening to Nance and Romo, I was too busy being a fan and yelling at the TV! LOL But it sure would have been helpful, if Nance and Romo had said, when KC got possession of the ball ... "if KC still has the ball, hasn't scored yet, and the clock runs out, the 2nd overtime period will start, and KC will keep going until they score or turn the ball over on downs." Yes, the referee did say on the coin flip, that "we are basically starting a new game". Well, that's not entirely correct. It wasn't a new game... it was both teams get a chance to possess the ball, and we'll see what the score is, after each team has the ball. If it's still tied, then it becomes sudden death. Nance does explain things very very quickly at the start of this video, but I had to play it back twice to catch everything ... "if they kick a FG, the game continues ... if they get stopped, the game is over, and they can win it with a TD".

Shooting 3 days after Mahomes & Kelce’s 3rd ring. The LV stadium address is 3333. 3 seconds left in OT. The receiver # 12, 1+2=3. But it’s all just coincidence fellas. 2001: 9/11 & War in Afghanistan Commences. Patriots win the following Super Bowl. 2003: War in Iraq begins. Pats win Super Bowl 2004: War in North Pakistan begins. Pats win Super Bowl 2014: Military campaign against ISIS launched. Pats win Super Bowl 2013: Boston Marathon Bombings. @clipcoug1139 1 min left on clock, 49ers up by 3. The rule is score a TD to win, kick a FG to tie, or lose. So instead of using all their timeouts, keeping as many plays possible before the clock runs out, they just instead score on the last second of regulation. Seems pretty staged to me. With the OT, the NFL had no more money to spend on air time so they had to hurry the game to a finish. Follow the money
