That overtime drive that Patrick Mahomes constructed will go down in history as one of the greatest of all time. He just elevated his legacy immensely on his way to that greatest of all time status. The Chiefs just won a Super Bowl on the Raiders' home field and got the trophy delivered to them by the Bronco's John Elway. That's throwing some serious shade on your AFC West rivals. LOL

Yeah, that thing was a line drive! I’ve seen some footage that shows how close it was to being blocked. It was so low that guys had their hands up to either side of the ball. It went through about a one foot window. The only spot it could’ve gone without someone getting a hand on it. Luckily, it flew through!

As a 49ers fan hearing all of the Kittle "highlights" is glaring. He ran his mouth all pregame, then disappeared for the entire game. NFL films was kind to him with the edits on the CMC fumble.... hmmmm, no idea why. I believe that the 49ers should seriously consider not allowing him to be mic'd up. Seems like the only reason KC lost SB 55 really is because of that 2 string almost 3rd string O-line they had to defend Mahomes with against Tampa Bay. KC revamps their Oline the following year with drafts and trades and its just magically better. We will never know obviously, but i wonder how it would have been if not all of the Oline starters were out but maybe only 1 or 2. Probably would have been a much closer game due to not being alot of pressure being put on the KC defense because the offensive line couldnt do anything. Makes you wonder. With that being said, that loss along with Tyreek Hill trade looks like are the best things to happen to the Chiefs in the long run. Forced them to reboot their Oline and with the Hill trade they got great defensive draft picks which helped lead to this eventual great defense of theirs.

I thought one of the biggest momentum shifts was 3rd quarter when the Chiefs have an opening drive and look horrible, nearly fumbling on first play, and then Mahomes throws an interception in Chiefs territory, yet the defense held the 49ers to 3 and out. The defense played so well for Chiefs until the offense could find some footing and get things going in 2nd half. It was a really tough competitive game.

12:06 "As Mahomes matriculated the ball down the field". Interesting word. Usually means to enroll in a college or university as a candidate for a degree. Guess it's used in football as a verb meaning to advance the ball down the field. Fitting usage here due to the fact that the saying is credited to Hank Stram, a Hall of Fame head coach in the 1960s and 70s, mostly for the Chiefs, whose most famous moment came when he wore a microphone throughout Super Bowl IV, in which the Chiefs beat heavily-favored Minnesota. “Just keep matriculating the ball down the field, boys,” he said at one point.
