Had my second monster season in Massachusetts and New Hampshire (pheasants/waterfowl) with my 1.5 year old GSP Ellie. Enjoy watching your videos. Can't wait for the next one!

Great to watch your dogs work cc made some great retrievers thanks for sharing
Awesome video! Headed to Kansas for the first time Saturday and will be there for the week. We'll see how things go considering it's their gun deer season...
Great Video! They seem to just get better and better

Great video again, I love these. I live in north central Kansas, and even though pheasant numbers are down, quail are still plentiful. I’ve already killed 25, only going out 5 times
Great video again! We have had practically no rain since this spring in South Central KS. Pheasants have been struggling hard, but quail seem to be hanging in there the best.

Great video and even better hunt!
Again another awesome video! I’d love the relationship you have with your dogs. I feel like I have a similar relationship with my English setter. I enjoy seeing you hunting with your brother. I just got back from South Dakota with my brothers. Can’t wait for the next video.

It is actually true. I watch all his videos and I am literally from the other site of the planet but I can say that I cannot find any better video creator for pointing dog hunting. My remark is that the factor that makes the difference are the very talented and very well-trained dogs, especially Tobs and Sisi

That’s very kind of you to say, thank you. I’m glad you enjoy them.
Pretty work! Beautiful country to be hunting birds!
Very nice hunt! Great dogs! I was in Kansas for opener 😊 pheasant numbers were way up from last year and lots of quail. But it was dry.

I haven’t had any luck on wiha here in ks. Good to know there are some around.
Love your stuff. Have been watching for a few years now! Question: would you be open to doing a few videos on dog training? Resources, general tips, etc? Your dogs flat out hunt, and I'd love to hear your about your approach. Cheers!
Dude, literally said "great shot" as you said, "how did I hit that?" Lol! Awesome videos!

😆 yep, that was a lucky one!
Make sure to allow lots of time to actually receive your PAL. It took me about 8 months in 2022 to get mine after mailing in my completed application. Of course you need to complete the classroom training, but the application form is also quite extensive and may take time and effort for you to complete depending on the availability of personal references and whatnot. They’ll also want the information of any current or ex spouses or girlfriends to make sure they don’t have any objections to your owning firearms.
From CdMX 🇲🇽 I was for 16 years in Kansas city really good memories for my especialy en the indian reservation good people op there😃🦃
Gosh, it would’ve been hard for me to hold back on a couple of those roosters in that big hole of pheasant🤣
CONGRATULATIONS, I FOLLOW YOU FROM SPAIN, I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, I HAVE A PUPPY AND I HAVE CALLED HER CI-CI.

How often do you get woodcock? I went out rabbit hunting today also in Kansas and flush up around 30 woodcock. I've never seen them here before especially while quail hunting in November.
Mr Forester, I used to hunt N-Central Kansas but 10 years ago the bird numbers fell off quail first followed by the pheasants. Can you give me some advice? Walk in- region etc
Congrats...looks like you guys found them again. What collars are you using?

@@ericforrester1 ok thanks
When you believe there might be pheasants in the region, to hunt WITH THE WIND AT YOUR BACK instead of IN YOUR FACE results in better opportunities. All predators that prey upon pheasants must have the wind in their face, and the birds know this….so throw them a curve . Your dogs follow good lateral movement, so it makes no difference if they point birds away from you or to you. Have done the same on quail when they are edgy, and walked into a flock of turkeys hunting opener in Texas quail years back while hunting with the wind. It can make a difference.👍
Where in kansas is this
You ever have issues where the dogs just aren’t scenting the birds? Went out today and saw a big covey dogs in the scent cone and never got any points. I was getting frustrated.
@ericforrester1
Жыл бұрын
Yes, scenting conditions can be very bad in Kansas sometimes.

Shooting too close and past your hunting partner is scary to watch! Aside from that, impressive vids.
