Kanes interview made me like him even more. Dude speaks so highly of Detroit it made me feel like I’m lucky to be here. He was definitely selling something to potential future free agents as well. So excited to see Kane play a full season here.

There needs to be a meme with Danielson quietly listening to Datsyuk but Mr. Miyagi’s face is superimposed on Datsyuk’s head.

Nothing about Kanes very positive and telling comments about the Gustafsson signing? I'm paraphrasing a bit but more or less this bellow... I don't think it's that far fetched to think that Kaner had a saying in this signing, just like he did with Tarasenko coming here... ----------------------------------------------- "Alot of potential, got to play with him alot in Chicago, he got 60 points one season where he was a KEY COMPONENT to our power play, so deceptive up top! Really knows how to run the top, maybe as good as anyone i've played with honestly... Obviously Fox (from his short time in NYR) is special and i think that Mo does a good job aswell, but to have those options up there (with both Gus and MO) and to have that familiarity with Gus, and obviously when we had a great PP there in Chicago, DeBrincat was on the other side aswell so... Yeah, Gus is a really, really good hockey player, great offensively, makes alot of good passes, alot of good plays... And I know he been working really hard on his defensive game too so he has gotten strong in that area too."

Just think, if half of those Debrincat's off the goalpost had gone in last season, the Wings would have made the playoffs. No more Debrincat's clingers, please.

I like veleno more than most and could see him flourishing at center between tarasenko and kane. He would offset their lack of defense better than jt or larkin. Just my opinion. And a fisher, copp, Danielson 4th line would be nice.

Definitely agree, Joey not afraid to go to the backboards and dig it out. He looked good with Kane when Larks was out those couple of games. I’ve been trying to match him up with Kane and somebody, DKat if he worked on accuracy, but now with Taresenko, that could be Joey’s time to shine.

Don't need to move someone to the left side. Just roll 3 scoring lines with Kane, Raymond, Tarasenko on the RW and Larkin, Compher, and Veleno at C.

I actually like veleno with kane and tarasenko. Let them shine on offense and let joe play the defense heavy 2 way game he's good at. Then you have jt, ras and maybe berggren on the third.

Turnovers in 3v3 shouldn't surprise you honestly, it's not really something to judge. Hockey players are having fun out there and try to make the flashy play. During his season 5on5 last season and his limited time in GR, he was extremely reliable.

I was just gonna say. Turnovers on a 3v3 tourney doesn't mean anything. If you watched him in Brandon or Portland last season, he was much better. Something he can also really work on during this offseason and preseason. It's possible he makes the team, not as a 2nd line center, though. Behind Berggs and Edvinsson, who already have a slot, he's the most NHL ready player.

Can't play in Detroit till you're at least 25 with 5 years at Grand Rapids. When will Detroit get out of the 1970's era. P.S. Chris Illitch has no idea what he's doing. i.e. Tigers

He doesn't really understand how hockey works... if you're drafted outside 4th overall, it takes 3 years to make the team in 70-80% of cases. Good example is Raymond. It took him less since he was #4. Seider took 3 since he was #6. They NEED time to develop and learn the game. Goalies take 5-6 years. This isn't the NFL or MLB, it's the fastest and hardest game to play.
