KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN (Shocking reality of Taliban's original capital)

In this Afghanistan travel vlog, we explored the old city of Kandahar and visited a few interesting historical sights, ate some delicious street food and even got welcomed by very kind Afghans who truly are the kindest souls on the planet! Is it safe to be in Afghanistan? Is it safe to be in Kandahar? We felt quite safe as tourists here!

Kandahar has been the capital of Afghanistan (land of Afghans) since 1709. We Afghans conquered Hindustan (land of Hindus) in 1750. The British never settled in Afghanistan.

Thank you once again for graciously sharing your experiences, and we deeply appreciate your visit to Kandahar. Over the past four decades, the resilient people of Kandahar have endured unimaginable hardships, witnessing severe conflicts that have taken a toll on their lives, properties, and subjected them to enduring economic crises. Despite these challenges, the people of Kandahar remain remarkably brave, valuing their privacy and cherishing freedom, factors that have contributed to the region's tumultuous history. Many heroes have emerged from this resilient community, contributing to Kandahar's rich and storied history. Your visit holds special significance, and we express our gratitude for your courage. Both of you are not only visitors but also embody bravery, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Indian brothers and sisters for choosing to explore and share in the experiences of Afghanistan. When Indians does not deny Afghan, Mughal, etc. rule at some point in history, why pretend that Kandahar isn't referred to as Gandhara in Indian history? Maybe, next, Chil Zina and Bamiyan probably don't (/shouldn't?) exist for you either - right? 😅 Its not a "Hindu" biased view. We referred to history as we learnt it in our homeland so as to help folks watching back in India can relate to something.
