As for me, in 2021, Camila performed with a more energetic number. But the difference is big. In 2022, Camila turned out to be more elegant, easier, she rolled the number more proficionally than a year ago. In short, it is excellent.

Very rarely do skaters grow into both their artistic interpretation and increased difficulty after performing the same program for this length of time. Most of the time, the nuances are lost and go stale with each additional repetition. Kamila is truly brilliant in the fact that she is able to consistently elevate her own performances and interpretations! Always cheering her on from the US 🥰

Конечно к Олимпиаде была уже совсем другая программа, более динамичная, более насыщенная связками и элементами. Браво, Камила. Очень жаль что не получилось на Олимпиаде. I can watch Kamila everyday, I seeing her grow skating since she was a little girl, feels as she's one of my granddaughters, so perfect, her movements are incredible amazing, God blessed her and keep her safe, as well as everyone around her

i love that she is jumping to the music on the beat now! very impressive because the music is so repetitive that to make it stand out, you have to be really exact. and on top of that she's doing ultra-C's not just triples lol

Аня на меня производит впечатление обычной отличницы- старается прыгать и старается хорошо двигаться. Ей это удаётся. Но танцевать с душой у неё не получается почему-то. Она как все. Машет руками. И физические данные не очень то- короткие ноги и руки. Думаю, что на фоне Камилы сейчас никто не смотрится . Камила делает искусство, а не просто прыжки под музыку

i love her mainly for her music choices, especially since i am a musician. her short program music really connects with me sonce i am a fan of more simplier melancholic pieces as i compose myself, it really gets to me how she can interpret it. Bolero used to be my most hated piece, but she made me fall in love with it and i have the urge to play with with an orchestra soon, she’s simply spectacular.

It’s so interesting seeing them side by side. Her performance this year is much more nuanced, charismatic. Even when she is doing the exact same movement in the exact same part of her program, the performance on the right is just so much more electric! Her musicality has really advanced. I used to find this program exceedingly boring. I had no idea why they were keeping it for the Olympic year. However, it’s really grown on me and this video helped me to understand why. Mila’s really nailing it!

A truly amazing skater. I sincerely hope she was free from banned substances. It would be such a shame to see her reputation tarnished after no-doubt working so incredibly hard for years to achieve such perfection.

this program must be sooo tiring, how can she look still so fresh at the end of it??? anyway it's amazing how strong she is and how effortless her jumps and spins seem to me, i can't even imagine how hard she must have to train every day for so many years to get to this level of difficulty. i hope she lasts long enough for her to mature even more and grow even stronger, bc i would love to see her have a long figure skating carreer and see what else she can do. It's been amazing and heartbreaking to watch her in the Olympics this last week with all the controversy. She should have been allowed to go home to her family. It's such a young age to have so much pressure and scrutiny on you. The final was heartbreaking to watch but she still came 4th. Give this girl another few yrs to the next one and she will be unbeatable.

She came fourth in a very well calculated move because she would never be cleared on the second test, so it was pointless to compromise the ceremony. Does that mean I agree to this? ABSOLUTELY NOT .. this is a case where the doping detected had NOTHING TO DO with a performance modification from two months prior on one detection and at the same time NOTHING TO DO with her own agency. In this case she should have been considered a fair contender. Her shunning from the ceremony is an abomination against human rights and accountability. Irresponsible and idi*tic to draw lines the way WADA does, not to mention their delay. If they really want to improve anti doping there is SO much better they could do, instead they end up throwing out the hard work of the best contender who PLAYED BY THE RULES, was doped by her entourage and trained harder than all. Pure injustice!

Cardiac enhancing drug is the one that helps these players keep up with the training and reduce fatigue related mistakes that lead to injuries Many skaters from other countries tried practing quad jumps without using drugs to compete with these cheating Russians, and many of them got injured so they were forced to miss this year's Olympics Disgusting how people like you defend this cheater Or maybe that you are Russian or Chinese, in which case cheating is a valid strategy to win in your culture

If they want facts, they have to intensify the testing so they will always detect this across the year and not throw away her years of hard work over what constitutes either an accident or the abuse of her doctors and coach

It's not her fault that the system created this niche of Russian child skaters. As it stands, it is an abusive system that gives cocktails of legal substances and extreme dieting while employing destructive training.

@@user-up3dd1vw6b you are right on the last message. Much better control should be in place. Nevertheless, on hard work alone and based on agency, Kamila deserved her place at the top. You blame the failures of a system on the one hero who did the hard work. We all know that the other two gold medalists probably had the same drugging and likely some of the other countries as well, especially the USA with its own covert drugging (see Simone).
