The kings move is legal if the shoulder isn't under the table. This guy is using his entire body weight as a block and leaning across the centre table.

What do you mean by technique? I assume in Mask’s case it’s a matter of juice/supplements. Matt is pretty technique and complete, just a lack of raw power.

If 2012 Dave was around today people will piss their pants. Voevoda, Cyplenkov, Chaffee and Levan, chronologically, are terrifyingly powerful.

Jerry doesn't have good side pressure or explosiveness of this guy and Dave was prepared for what was coming. Here he got got caught off guard.

Aw I love him. Super cute. Awesome match.

While I think the refs could have managed starting positions better, I think Jablonski (whom I haven't watched before) was hiding a hydraulic assist device under that shirt to be able to press through Dave's first-pull strength like that. I think I just witnessed the birth of a monster.

Congrats to the guy, but I would love see Dave take some time and come back like he was 3 years ago.

Dave got the cell treatment, but he needs time. He committed to this match back when he wasn't saying no to anything, but he definitely needs a break. Heal up, do some table work, and come back and do what Dave does best: be the horsepower gatekeeper to the superheavyweights.

Jablonski learned the false starts with Genadi, it seems. The organizations need to do something about the false starts, because it makes all the diference in the outcome.

Okay people made it sound like he got killed and had nothing for the guy. I pull exactly like Jablonski and I can say I’ve gotten many wins I shouldn’t have against stronger opponents because of a ref who doesn’t control the table and maybe someone who isn’t as fast as me. Dave just needs 6-9 months of proper rest and a restart and he’ll be back in the top 5-10 depending on the day. He went from losing to MT and Devon in 2019 to smashing Kurdecha and even beating Vitaly less than a year ago.

I think it's more that people have found ways around their own lack of strength....this insta dive in and lay on your arm is just as corny as the arm fully extended kings move, just in reverse....and if you can do either, Dave doesn't know how to combat it. If Kamil tried to stand and go toe to toe, he'd have no chance. Dave just doesn't have a lot of table IQ outside of being strong straight to the pad.

No, Rino is not on a similar level at all. Rino beat him in open weight, where super heavies are normally more gassed.

Dave's adjustment was to do the same thing but try to pull harder next time.

Dave has got to change it up. He has a lane that is nearly unbeatable. But everyone knows how to keep him from that lane now.

Dang, i'm sure Jablonski is strong in other techniques but it was disappointing and a little lame to see him just dive in with a desperation move only relying on his body weight. It would've been nice to see if he could actually arm wrestle for the center instead of just the flop wrist press with his body weight. I definitely feel for Dave. Not my favorite.
