I know Kuuga is designated as the first essay writer but I weirdly like to think of him as the last showa rider cause of his design and being the last show with a sole rider

Part 2 is here (Yes, I’m late), so here’s my thoughts on the riders you placed here. Fourze: For the most part, Fourze hits the points it needs to hit with the white coloring and the rocket head (Really like the eyes too), but at the same time, the white feels like it’s too much in certain places and, I don’t know, the feel I get from Fourze doesn’t feel right. I would probably place Fourze a little lower, but not that low. Shin: As unique as Shin is, I’m not a fan of it. If it was like a monstrous rider (ex: another rider), I would probably like it as the detailing on this suit looks pretty good, but it isn’t. It just doesn’t hit the marks I see within a rider. I love the details on Shin and as much as it pains me, I would place him lower on my list. ZO/J: Very simple designs and for the most part, I like them. The dark coloring of green works out here and the lining is done well to give it a uniform appearance. However, I did feel like because of the primary coloration of the suit, that’s also what draws these two riders back for me. I would probably put them lower on my list. Black RX: This feels like a watered down version of Black, and I don’t like it as much. The color of green may be passable, but what I don’t like are the shape of the eyes and head and how the back sections of the suit bulge out more. Things just look weird and doesn’t feel right, and compared to his predecessor, it especially feels underwhelming. I would put Black RX lower. OOO: Here is where black as the primary color actually works for me (I’m an odd individual). I will say that the colors do clash and while the detailing of the suit looks amazing, the coloring throws me off, even thought I like the idea they were heading with. I’d say OOO is around the same placement as your list. Stronger: Warning: Massive opinion difference. Anyways, I hate Stronger’s appearance. The excessive eye size looks ugly and while the red and black work together and the antenna doesn’t looks that bad, the chunky upper body looks unsettling and the addition of the white scars and blue color underneath the chest piece feels unnecessary. I defiantly would place Stronger lower on my list. Decade: This is a suit I want to like, but I also dislike. The black and magenta coloring looks good, the white lining is done well, and the head detail of the barcode design is something I like. At the same time, some of the other detailing like the arms look unnecessary and overall, while the colors work, it feels somewhat dull. I would place Decade only a tiny bit lower. Black: Whereas I’m not a fan of RX’s design, I really like Black’s. The color scheme is on of my favorites (black with gold and red detailing) and because of this coloring, parts of the armor also don’t feel like they stick out all that much either and the eyes look much better. I would place Black around the same spot or maybe higher. X: X isn’t the worst design, but there are still things I find questionable. The white and red mix well together and the helmet actually looks pretty good. At the same time, I’m not a fan of the chest design. I know they were trying to go for an x motif, but the lining doesn’t sit right with me. It’s not a bad suit, but I just find it decent at best. I would probably place this a little lower. Super-1: Oddly enough, the tassels are the one part that I hate about Super-1. Aside from that, I really like Super-1’s appearance. The black lines added all over the body enhance his appearance in addition to the red eyes and the mouth piece looks good too. I would probably place him underneath Black, but definitely a great suit. Wizard: The red coloring of Wizard looks fantastic as well as the crystal feel of those red decals, and the trench coat (while I don’t find as cool as you) works very well with the theme and design of Wizard. Nothing else I can say though. I would place him only slightly lower. W: Simplicity at its finest. The two color choices to represent the forms are just something to love as well as the w-motif located across the entire body as well as how the gold and purple coloring stand out on each halfs. I would place W a little higher on my list. Kuuga: Another simple, yet fascinating design. The top half of Kuuga with the red and muscle decals really suit Kuuga and the yellow/gold horns that enhance the head is a nice addition as well as the gold detailing across the legs and arms. I would place it under W, but it is definitely worth being around high mid tier.

They should of used the shin suit for another ichigo. just add some armor parts, a distorted looking typhoon. And boom!

My only problem with the Fourze suit is when it comes to fights. As an astronaut suit, I see it as very constricted and very soft. When I see him hit a monster, I don't feel the force of the impact. It depends a lot on the Astroswitches to make the fight energetic.

ZO is still my favourite suit. To me it's like the natural progression of the Black suit where you strip a Rider down to just the core basics.

Black RX's collar is actually *supposed* to blend into his helmet, I think! It's to make it look more like a real grasshopper's head-- they don't got necks, ya see.

maybe it's just me, but i always thought the Black RX suit looked more like an Armored version of the Grasshopper Mutant into which Kotoro transform before transitionning to Black, rather than an upgrade of Black itself

I think its facinating how monstrous Ishinomori really wanted the original Kamen Rider. Thats why I find the Shin movie so fascinating. Thays how he wanted Kamen Rider to really be. As much of a mutant cyborg monster as the ones he fights. A man became a monster to fight m9nsters so nobody else would have to suffer like him. You can see it in the Kamen Rider Black manga too. I love it

Super one is actually partially based off Evel Knievel and Elvis, which is why he has the tassels on his suit.

Took me halfway through the video before I realised the "mufflers" he kept talking about were the scarfs. Granted, I'm no fashion guru, but in all my 39 years I've _never_ heard that alternate term before. I kept thinking he was somehow comparing the silver pieces of the helmets to car mufflers.

I actually have a headcanon that Super-1's base form was reversed engineered and based off of Kamen Riders Ichigo and Nigo from technology and blueprints from recovered, confiscated and or stolen from Shocker. I came up with this headcanon because I though that Super-1's design looked like if Ichigo and Nigo had a final form like the Heisei and Reiwa riders. What do you guys think?

well he was technically turned into a Cyborg by NASA (or at least as part of a international Space Program created by the US State Department and the NASA) so there is a chance that maybe they did get access to some of Shocker blueprints or technology, who knows
