Just finished an In-the-hoop baby bib and used Kam Snaps for the first time. You are RIGHT! I used to work with leather and used those metal ones and they always went crooked for flat or just didn't attach together. These are a breeze to use and a lot of fun too! I can think of a bunch of my clothing that could use a snap or two. For instance, I work outside a lot (I'm retired), and when it's hot my sleeves drive me nuts. I could put some matching snaps on them so I can hold them up when I want! They're work shirts so who cares if it's fashionable. It IS practical! Thank you, Jen. I so love your videos. You present everything just like a good friend would explain it to you without all the goofy voice inflections and loud music (big plus!)

I'm with you on snap issues! I am going to buy this. Just the tip for using all those white snaps for anyone who buys a kit: I'm a papercrafter and alcohol markers or alcohol ink would be great for coloring them any colour you wish. Sharpies are alcohol-based and would also work. EDIT: I ordered the kit (prices are higher since this video) and it arrived today. I had 2 projects waiting for this. Thank you for your recommendation! I am impressed and hope they don't disappoint over time.

they come in great colors different engravings animals, flowers, cows and cowboy boots. Kam company is great to work with and you can buy them at some craft stores(Joann's) along with PUL (Polyurethane Laminate) Fabrics That match fabric design to snaps. Use a % off coupon on their flyers or print from online store, make sure it says store coupon or online coupon they have more fabrics online and online sales.

Be careful of your hands if you use these a lot. I've made over 200 items with these and my hands are now injured. For light use these are GREAT but for professional use I would invest in KAM Snaps brand professional table top snap press. Save your hands from injury. ♥

Oh, I see, there are 3 different sizes....though no really small ones...that's too bad...I love replacing the fiddly, tiny buckles on sandals and pumps with snaps - but even the T3 ones are going to be too big for that. Still...a great tip!

+Rara Avis That's a great idea for buckles! I have size 20 - there are smaller ones but I haven't tried them yet. Whenever I have a garment/bag that calls for snaps or buttons - I'm totally using these instead!

Wow, I can't believe how cheap these are! I just paid 6.99€ for 10 (no kidding) 8mm Prym metall snaps. And besides, metall snaps are often quite heavy and bulky. I had a quick look on ebay and they're available in Germany, but only, it seems, in one size.

Check Amazon. I bought mine from them it came with 150 coloured snaps in one size, but the Kam Snap itself had the fittings for either 3 or 4 sizes, the same as Jennifer's but coloured snaps. Beware, there can be quite a difference in price, but they all look the same. Mine is the proper Kam and the price was cheaper than some claiming to be Kam! I think I paid just under £15. Just look at them all!
