Wow, when a whole decade gets put alongside a phase in your life, that's cool. It's not quite the same, but I was starting Junior High in 1990 and in 2000 I was getting close to finishing up college (graduated in 2001). I love both the 80's and the 90's.

Yep, nowadays apparently "curvy" means having a gargantuan ass. Also if you ask me, I think girls had far better style as far as how they styled their hair, clothes, fashion, etc. Even guys too for that matter. It's just crazy that there is little to no style or uniqueness anymore... but I think that translates over to many things. Fashion, Interior Design, Architecture, Cars, People Interaction, etc, etc. I can go on and on.

Never seen this film before. I prefer 80's teen films (Gen X stuff). This is from 1982 but feels very "late 70's". This is like the last gasp of the Boomers in their 20's, maybe fresh out of college, right before "real life" caught up to them, and they settled down and started having kids.

I was curious and watched this movie in the video since i hadn't seen it before. I was so horrendously bad. Bad script and bad acting. But i couldn't stop watching still. It was so bad it was actually good. There was some magic to this lost time. An easy time where girls show their boobs for no apparent reason. Good times.

What can be said about the 80s and most of the 90s that hasn’t already been said? All I can add is that we will never see this type of utopia ever again in America. And you can thank the Democrats and Rhinos for that. ☠️

I dont like the hairstyles of that era but hot girls, of whom there were many, actually could make them work. And it seems that most girls if that time were hot and only a few were overweight, not like the morbid obesity running rampant today. The clothes were a mixed bag but a lot of them were gorgeous especially the summer clothes. The guys wore short shorts, thin ribbed tank tops, and crop tops which showed off their physiques, much more muscular than those of today, and no one called them fat for it. They didn’t wear the horrible baggy board shorts of today. Also there was lots of dating and lots of flirting and girls actually appreciated guys, especially good looking ones. In those days there weee problems to be sure and much more materialism than there should have been, political correctness and cultural Marxism was already rife in universities and media, but life was much more carefree and outdoorsy and liberating than now. In those days the youth were the GenXers who were resilient and self reliant if too materialistic, and the oldest Millennials were just toddlers. The Baby Boomers were coming into their own as the dominant generation in business and entertainment and as the new yuppies with young kids gradually taking over from the Silent Generation who were in the absolute prime of their lives as the bosses of industry and commerce and who liked to ignore their GenX kids running around at all hours which is why the movies of the time featured lots of teenagers and young adults with totally absentee parents because that’s how the Silents were. The Greatest Generation were the leaders of our society at the highest echelons. Not perfect times but immeasurably better than today.
