God, I SERIOUSLY ENVY those who got to experience the 80s! I was born in 1999 and lived through the 2000s (which looking back wasn’t bad), but I’d give my left arm and right leg to just live through ONE DAY in the 80s!!

movies and tv shows romanticize eras and throw in nostalgia that tend to be biased towards remembering mostly the good stuff and that'll make you feel you're missing out. in the 80s some felt we missed out on the 50s , 60s and 70s. but to be fair, i think these times are pretty whack compared to then

Indie was the most wonderful genre of all time as it brings back old sounds like these and anything chill and rocknroll. being a 90's kid who grew listening to 90's, 80's, 70's and 00's i'm sticking to indie as my bible.

Even though i was born in 1987, yet i feel the same.

Born in 1966. - I lived this spending time visiting parents living in Ft. Lauderdale and attending UCLA 1984-1988. Feels like a dream. But holy i$h the lyrics are macabre as hell. Like the Nightstalker wrote Synthwave.

Maybe when we die we can go back to any time we want and stay there. That said, although I miss the 80's I don't think I'd want to give up my family to go back. Nice to be fit, young, and attractive again though! 😉
