It reminds me of something wrapped around and cutting off the blood supply. Both fingers are swelled up far worse in my opinion... Wouldn't be surprised if she lost those two fingers.

That's what I thought to..I thought I had seen a cpl babies in thr past with moms fur or something wrapped around their fingers like Kaileys....just not as bad

I agree, Gypsy has bitten her just as before.😱 It was was healing nicely but now I think she will lose the tips. I can't imagine the pain of being bitten to the bone, for a second time.

chelledoll321 I would have loved to touch and feed them but ‘Captain Nick” said not a good idea, feeding has caused fights. If it were me I would have tried to get them to jump on the boat! I contacted ‘Slick boat tours’ in Ocala, was 100.00 for three hours on the Silver River. Saw a lot of wild life including the two troops, many large birds, alligators and manatees. One could rent a kayak and possibly see some Macaques and get closer, feed them. Stayed in a hotel just a few miles from where we met captain nick at the boat dock. He said 90% of the time you get to see the monkeys.

At this point of my primate obsession, I’ve probably watched over 1K videos of monkey babies. I don’t know what it is about Kailee’s cries/whimpers but they are absolutely heart breaking to me. They are barely audible, but wreak of desperation. It just cuts to my core like no other ever has. It literally makes it difficult to watch when she’s in them, and now to know that her mangled fingers were of Gypsy’s doing, hurts my heart even more. Poor baby girl. So glad to see the others thriving, even little Sparky with her muddled little face!

I publicly stand with you and your loved ones in Hong Kong, Be safe.

Gypsy needs to be fixed she is just not happy about having children it's like they annoy her. So sad ;(

Kailey & Rudy appear to have a mutual love & respect for each other. I'm so thankful that Rudy loves & cares for Kailey so well. It would be nice to see Rudy allow her to forage and eat when goodies are around & maybe take her for water. She really is thin.

Kaileys fingers look WAY WORSE in this video than they do in the weeks prior. They are looking red, gangrenous, and like they are going to come off. It appears one is already missing.

My fav moms are Dolly, Reddy & Gypsy. Gypsy is unbelievable, in the way she has no problem spending as little time with her babies & with nursing time. It’s a good thing there are plenty of aunts that help her out. That’s amazing to see, especially with a low rank.

Sparkey will be fine she's a tough little gal and Kailey is actually looking a bit better herself I'm sure her finger s will heal ok .they all heel nicely

I don't know if y'all noticed but that other monkey mother has moved twice away from Kayla and her aunt every time the aunt would try to sit beside them. The mother monkey would move it's like they don't want to be around low rank.😏

after seeing more of the bigger picture with rudy, i am happy kailey has her in her life. i can see why rudy was so over protective with kailey. rudy would have been a great mother. i'm glad kailey has her. her poor little fingers. if gypsy keeps biting them she might loose the tips. i hope gypsy takes a break from having a baby next year, she really needs too. she seems to have rejected kailey to a degree.

Poor baby I think she's been bitten again and it looks like her fingers my fall off or real bad infection so sad I'm going to say it I don't care what anyone thinks her mother is not a loving mother I don't know what her problem is maybe she has had too many babies and now she's lost her freaking mind she seems so mean to her kids😞🤔🙏🏽

I have seen similar marks around the nose like that. When a new born gets a rash from trying to find the n.ipple. And that babbies hand looks like she took skin of several layers on her fingers. The Aunt is not lactating, its more a pacifier. She is getting love all around her to make up for Mom

You make the remark of Gypsy and Dolly having different parenting styles. So it begs the question in my beady little mind. How were Gypsy and Dolly raised? Same style from their Mothers? And another one that has been floating around in my head,is if Gypsy had what could be called normal, say " Dolly's style" then could she have something in her youth such as a traumatic incident that could have changed her mindset on her way of child rearing? Just wondering because there is so much in common with humans in particular, and just curious of the actions or inactions that are again similar to humans and if some that would happen to change their mindset. Which to some equate those actions wrong because they are doing what is instinctual to them. And to those that put these monkey on the same level as humans and also think with their hearts instead of their head and at times seems to me just can't acknowledge that this is a wild animal in their familial environment with it's own rules.

I just don't like gypsy. And I think she needs to be fixed She needs to Wonder off in that cage they have for the Monkees to be Spade 😁 that would make me happy for Kayle and all her sisters. That has had to put up with Gypsy for mother.

Was there a video showing Kailey being bitten by Gypsy that caused this? If not, how do we know Gypsy did it? Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't put it past Gypsy to do this.

There are certainly more visitors from China 😣in the last 4 months - the protests have driven them to visit the countryside instead. Littering and feeding has become a problem recently. I now bring a plastic bag with me to pick up any rubbish they've left behind. The most outrageous one I have seen was a used diaper, just lying along the road 😡 I have seen them teasing monkeys with sweets etc. I suspect such inappropriate feeding must be a factor behind some of these injuries. A feeding craze would certainly to that.

Rhesus can be cruel also. Very often on these videos you can hear screeches and fights in the background but they never get filmed.i think a lot of these vids are just cute vids of babies playing and stuck on the milk bar .I just dont think you are getting the full picture of macaques life here.just look at the gypsy monkey how she is.im sure there are more than her as well who are like this that we dont get to see on here.

Looks like the brand new, inexperienced mom, Spanky, is already a thousand times better mother than Gypsy could ever be.

@@jamessimms415 there are plenty of low ranking females who are wonderful mothers and they certainly don't neglect and abuse their babies. The older Gypsy gets, the nastier she is. She's actually reached the point where she's mangling her infant on top of starving her. If Gypsy were human, CYS would've stepped in to remove her children and declare her an unfit mother

At the 0:45 sec mark you can see why Gypsy does not want Kaily she has no life in her eyes she is missing something she is off... Good for you Gypsy I can see why you are moving on weak monkey is not good for the troop she is smaller and weaker also...
