    @@aressimbamt0959 That's cause you have no clue about quality products. It's a completely different type of intra-muscular fat than your typical random bodyfat. The taste is phenomenal and it melts just by touching it. There's a reason people pay hundreds of dollars for a single steak of it, and it's not cause it tastes like random Croatian fat.

Wagyu is also an exception and when eaten can provide with health benefits. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5243954/ "They are heart-healthy dietary fat because they can lower LDL-cholesterol while increasing HDL-cholesterol. Clinical trials have also indicated that highly marbled beef does not increase LDL-cholesterol and that beef high in oleic acid can consistently increase HDL-cholesterol. Finally, literatures have concluded that high-oleic acid beef such as Wagyu and Hanwoo beef may reduce risk factors for cardiovascular diseases."

    A solid tip for us poor's, try doing some dry aging and you'll take these cheap strip steaks to heaven and back. 100% worth it if you can't land a quality cut like this.

    Oh my, I still remember eating that. It melts in your mouth. The best beef in the world. It's not the waxy beef fat but linoleic acid, omega-3 & 6 which is heart healthy rather than US meat.

    I had once the most extreme wagyu steak ever, marbling was 100%, initially I was quite dubious, until the chef convinced me that it was not a blob of grease, but the best wagyu steak there had been, ever. It literally melted on the grill, so I could not taste it, but the aroma was wonderful and the experience otherworldly.

    Good idea trimming the excess fat from a steak that’s 50/50👍. Edit: Not your best. Pan wasn’t hot enough for a good sear on the steak. Onions and mushrooms undercooked. More concerned with the method than the end product.

    That looks amazing. Good job. At first, I thought the steak was going to be over cooked, but came out perfectly. And kind of cringed a little with the sauce but to each their own and I’m not hating! 10/10 visuals
