I waited MONTHS for my new transformer bar, only to find that my blemish items were in the exact same shape (if not better). I was actually disappointed with my new purchase. All of my blemish items have been fantastic. Their packaging is top notch, right up there with American Barbell packaging. PS-the small handles are my least favorite. 1.5 inch are awesome. The rotating love handles are supposed to improve grip strength and can relieve elbow pain.

Yeah I would say even with the blemishes that I have on my bars I’m really happy with them

I have the same 2 bars and I bought them BLEMISHED about a month and half ago and NO blemishes on MY 2 bars. I only noticed those machine slits on the sleeves of both bars but that was it. I think they are machine slits ( marks ) So if that’s a blemish than it’s totally worth getting the bars as blemished, instead of waiting 18 friggin weeks. By the way my Kadillac bar I could not find any blemishes. It was new as far as I’m concerned 👍

Yeah totally worth going with the blemished. I just bought the Duffalo bar blemished as well.

My transformer bar is coming tomorrow after 4 months. Got my kadillac bar a month and a half ago. Just had to return a kabuki 45lb plate for chips in it pretty bad. Kabuki’s lead time is absolutely ridiculous though and it was bad before COVID hit. 3 month and a 4 month wait. You get zero updates or emails about its status either. Just buy and wait around for months. The least they could do is keep you up to date

I would agree the lead time suck. I’m impatient that’s why I decided to do blemished. I ordered a fringe sport longhorn Buffalo bar but it doesn’t come till July. I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait that long. We will see.

Great video, Kabuki Transformer bar went on blemish sale today and I'm strongly considering it

Thanks for the video. I never knew kabuki sold blemished bars. Might consider it in the future. Funny how your wife said your arms look small. I was gonna mention that you look extra leaner in this video

I own an unblemished kadillac bar and it doesn’t have the indent that you pointed out on the blemished bars.

Mine is an “unblemished” as well and IT DOES have an indent. I thought it was a blemish at first but then I thought it was part of it. I don’t know what to think anymore

I have a blemish Kadillac bar, and it has the same little notch in the collars on the sleeves.
