I have another video I think ready to upload from over a year ago I’m just not as invested in it as I was before. Whats the part number for the oil pan gate baffle

Does the k20z3 oil pump Will do the same job on a k24?

For anyone else a drywall screw worked for me was super easy can't remember if it was fine or corse

JC 86 im using the Steel pan from the k24. The k20 pan is aluminum

I got the K24A2, does the hole where you have to plug it with a bolt, does our block K24A2 come already with the thread's already threaded in?

From my understanding some do and some dont. Depends on manufactured year. Mine was an 08 block it was already threaded

Modified is the key word. You can see in their pictures its shaved down as I did in my video.

Would this get ur rpm to 8k oppose too 7k

It will help reduce the risk somewhat since the balance shafts on the stock pump can come apart at high RPM, which you definitely don't want. It is also an improvement for higher than stock RPM because the stock oil pump spins 2X faster than the engine RPM whereas the K20 pump only spins around 1.6X faster than engine RPM, so the K20 pump will take less power to run and will continue to operate properly at higher engine RPM instead of cavitating and making bubbles in the oil. However, the stock K24 pump will actually pump more oil than the K20 pump at lower RPMs since it spins about 20% faster, so expect to lose oil pressure at idle and at lower RPMs after this mod.

Austin K havent even dropped this engine in tbh. I havent been invested in the car the last 2 years but, hopefully with my own place that will change. My friend Evan said hes noticed a bit more vibration but, the pros outweight the small vibration at idle lol
