    Question: Does having this coolant overflow tank sitting lower in the engine bay cause hydro-static pressure to send fluid to it once it gets a little hot and the fluid starts moving? IE; having it lower, isn't that kinda like trying to siphon gas out of gas tank? (I've never relocated one, but now I have one of these and an R34, lol)

  • @nicholasmarlow4359
    @nicholasmarlow43599 ай бұрын

    Good question that I never thought of but, from what I’ve read. Since it’s an overflow it’s only gonna push fluid into it when it gets hot and when it cools it will draw it back into the system. If you have a surge tank you need to mount it close to the top of the rad. Of course do your own research, I’m not expert haha

    Is this for the coolant line that wraps over the valve cover breather port and into the throttle body?

  • @nicholasmarlow4359
    @nicholasmarlow4359 Жыл бұрын

    This deletes the oem k series cabin heater steal lines. So from the head to the thermostat housing. The cheap way is to just cut the pipe from the thermostat near the head and put a rubber line from the head to that pipe looping the coolant system. This just cleans it up.

    Good video thanks. I have 2 questions. Would there be any effect to performance and what, before replacing the filler neck if it were leaky or not, and from any small leak between filler and the tank maybe at a seal or tube? Where to start to locate the leak? A leak just began after filling the tank into the filler neck It's a brief seap when the tank is overfilled with fuel in the filler neck areas. It stopped soon after the fuel was below the leak location, maybe 6 miles? Grateful for any response

  • @nicholasmarlow4359

    I will say this: if you are doing a K swap on an EG Ej DC2 chassis, and you want to tuck your headlight harness using a hybrid racing wiring harness, and/or one similar to it, this is probably the best video on KZread. It sucks for him that he had to go back and do it, but he made a perfect guide for people with the hybrid racing conversion wiring harness. This video really helped me out a lot.
