What subframe did u use?

Did you use a eg/dc2 subframe?

Do you have any fitment issues for your headers? And what sitting are you on top or bottom on your mounts. Thanks

So for every k swap I would need change the subframe to a eg or a dc2?

Thats weird because when i got the same mount kit i got hardware for all the mounts.

Hey good video guy, what type of K swap are you doing in the ek sedan.. k20a2, k20/k24, ork20z1, k24a2.. what type of trans are you guys going to use? .. good video, can’t wait to see more, and when are you going to Kswap your ek hatch? That will be pretty cool n possible sell that bseries n go hit kswap in your hatch with type R k20a dc5type r trans too

Do you have to us a diffrent subframe? If so from what car and why?

Dc2/ Eg subframes are used more often because they position the engine batter. Dc2s also have a better steering rack

Since you're using EKK2 mounts, u need to use eg forks, i already have a coilover on my EK, i'll have to change to an coilover for EG?

Eg, Ek & Dc2 front forks are the same I believe

Its like a tie bar but we had to remove it, wouldn't clear the transmission housing

Technically, no. You dont NEED it. But its better if you do. Gives more clearance in the front for intake manifild / radiator clearance. Also, the axel sits in a better position for less problems in the long run. I also went with the eg/DC subframe.

What do you mean you went with the EG / DC subframe?.. you mean, you are doing EG subframe in your integra dc2 chassis ?

@@krazy_lobito4335 EG chassis have the subframe as the DC chassis. I have the EG/DC subframe in my EK for better clearance once the K goes in. I'm sure Tommy will explain better in his next video.

I thought the tie bar doesn't clear the headers?

I just had to remove mine because the transmission housing wouldn't clear. On a DC.

We removed it after putting the motor in, doesn't clear trans housing

@@CarFanatic5 yes a K swap will clear the sway bar. the Tie bars are the only things that get in the way. I have a GSR sway with my K24

There will be no step by step wiring due to us using a full Rywire house, so its straight plug and play

With the EG subframe it’s the EKK4 mounts not EKK2 mounts I believe if you use k24. But for this motor and video ekk2 is correct.
