My problem with your analysis is you leaning too much on thinking she’s at fault. You said because she’s a genius on concept, marketing oneself, therefore she can’t be trusted. Already whatever she wear, would inflame the public’s hatred. You said she should dress nicely, but that would take time and ppl will go: look at her, dolling up like one of those tall dogs, she’s arrogant, etc. You said: she should talk about her the evidences are misrepresented, how could she? Should she go and say someone plan evidences against me? For more than half the video, You keep talking about your dislikes toward her instead of playing the video, which gives a strong impression that you are rather bias. And how do we know she’s not cooperating with the auditors? Last I heard she has handed her laptop to the auditors. They have kicked her out of ador, so it’s not like she can stop the auditors doing their auditing??? She's playing the "woman in business" card, the "New Jean's mom" card etc LOL.. she didn't provide any valid rebuttal to what she was accused of regarding the alleged plan to take down the company etc. involving the share option stuff that was discovered during the audit of Ador. I was so stressed watching her just blabbing on and turning the water works about nothing and basically bad mouthing the entire Kpop business LOL. ​​@@jes4852 that may be the case but by playing into the stereotype of the hysterical emotional woman she is not doing any woman in business in Korea any favours at all. She is just confirming the prejudices and cementing these views of women as not being able to function in a corporate position. And women who can't see that she is putting on this helpless act are not logical either and are naive in the extreme - especially after the release of all those toxic comments about NJ and her plans to bring down Hybe. And if she really cared about NJ like daughters why would she involve them (and their parents) in this mess which is brought about by her need for money and power - as if she hasn't got enough of both already (as you said one of the only women CEO).

She should have shown up in a nice suit, composed and with receipts. These are not the actions of an innocent person. I worked as a paralegal for years and this was a fiasco. She clearly did not listen to the advice of her counsel.

If the transcript I read was accurate, it was a rambling incoherent mess, full of pleading for sympathy, no clarification of the situation, and some extraordinarily personal mudslinging. That she continues to drag young and underage women into this mess is despicable.

SHE GOT CAUGHT. PERIOD. Things are not going her way which explains this "rant con"

Totally agree with your take on the press conference. Once I saw her outfit I thought the same thing, this is a show she's putting on for sympathy because she has no meaningful rebuttal to the allegations against her. As you stated she is a savvy businesswomen if she had appeared as such and stated her side maybe we could give her more credence.

Thanks for this. I agree with everything u said. Working in a corporate environment since I graduated from college this whole press conference made me cringe. No facts were stated by her. Then she mentioned shamans and I was done. I hope the members of NewJeans are taken care of and are not too affected by this.

Anyone wondering why Koreans seem to be supporting her, it's like this: Alot of these people have a "eat the rich" mentality in SK. So MHJ went through the victim-hood side of things to gain public favor from passersby that barely have any vested interest in the kpop industry. She dressed shabbily and cursed, to seem relatable to everyday salary workers that already hate their bosses. Unknown to the general public that this woman is gaslighting us the same way she did when we questioned her about NWJS song lyrics on "Cookie." So now with that kind of mentality in SK, Koreans themselves are wondering why international fans hate MHJ even more, and are blaming Hybe for twisting the narrative (they haven't) on a global scale. Also, antis and haters are also fueling this issue by "supporting" MHJ. At the same time most of us that saw MHJ as a walking yellow-red flag from the onset (when she joined Hybe from SM in the beginning; not to mention her weird and creepy, almost pedophilic obession with youth) are saying "we told you there was something weird with MHJ!"

The number of negative articles that are always out about Hybe and their artists would lead anyone to conclude that they have very little influence on the media in SK. They have always been attacked and had incorrect rumours published against them. I think you have it the wrong way round and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see that MHJ has been an SM plant all along trying to get the former "Big 3" back at the top and that means destroying Hybe. The smear campaign she discussed in her chats has come to pass for the last few months and most of the media has eaten it up - do most journalists in SK just publish gossip without actually verifying anything because it seems like really sloppy work on their part and the SK fans just seem to also gobble and "drama" as fact - this is real life not the kdrama that MHJ is trying to turn it into.

I totally agree 💯 she never addressed any of the serious allegations that is against her but she misdirected them with other artists names and basic corporate convo threads that’s happens. Nothing she showed would be incriminating but she definitely played the victim card by misdirection/deflection/distraction. A lot of things she said were ⛳️⛳️⛳️⛳️⛳️ to me who has worked in corporate for more than 20 years. But a lot of people who don’t understand the protocols around contracts/corporate/etc are going to fall for her tactics. And she definitely had a CONCEPT look for her press conference. I tried reading the transcript of the press conference, and I could only get 2/3rds of the way through... 🙄 It was honestly really awful... 🤢 Basically just whining, complaining, and trying to play the victim for the whole time! How is this a CEO??? I didn't need to hear her swearing and going on and on about how she's so hurt & confused by how everyone is trying to get the truth...just tell the facts about your business activities and move along. 🙄😤 The faster she is removed from any position of power, and just gone from the business, the better.

FACTS. I already disliked this woman before all this happened and now I dislike her even more. Literally WTF did she expect to happen? Without HYBE, NJ and Ador wouldn’t even EXIST. She was already being paid very well but CLEARLY started to become more greedy, resulting in trying to depart and become independent from HYBE. Mhj denied all allegations against her put up by pd (like BTS copied her), moreover hybe didn't show any proof about her actually releasing information to people or even about her saying anything against a group.. instead she proved how pd was talking about aespa with screenshots. I watched your video and I couldn't agree more! When I heard about this issue my first thought was that HYBE probably was on the wrong because most big companies do shady things by using their power and connections. When I saw the press conference I changed my mind completely! I was seeing a woman who worked with the biggest entertainment companies in S. Korea and abroad, creating the image of very famous groups like SHINee , Red Velvet , EXO etc and recieving awards for her work for over 20 years, making a press conferance dressed like a hobo , crying like a child and rambling how unfair was HYBE to her , how hypocritic person is Bang Shi Hyuk She even said that she is like a mother to New Jeans. We heard no facts to support her case and not any convincing evidence against HYBE.I believe with this bad played drama she wanted to manipulate the public sentiment because she was caught red handed by HYBE ! Of course time will tell!

She wronged the company that pays her and she wanted sympathy. She’s not getting it.

At the end of the day, innocent until proven guilty. Let's hope for the best for the potentially affected artists. They don't deserve this kind of drama from people who are supposed to be role models to them.

@@Kim_lilly20 She was give a very large salary and 18% in share's and she was give Money by HYBE for New Jeans they didn't take all the money. She was extremely well paid, but she was far too greedy and bit the hand that fed her. She's in serious trouble now.

I watched the whole conference, we have different opinions especially those people who are naive or ignorant, I felt the same way, it's just for a show. Instead of making drama for whole 3 hours, just reserve her energies in court. 😁😁😁

I do agree, the behaviour is questionable as she would have a full legal team that can help so she should play by the book. Some people are saying that John is being biased but so far I agree with him. Should evidence prove different I will hold my hands up but so far not good for her.

I am not Korean nor can understand Korean. Thanks to this English opinion video. I am interested to know what was the Live Conference when KZread pop it up . When I saw her in these outlook, am also surprised and know that “Pity Votes” are her path . 😊. Many people in the conference left their seats to exit and makes many KPop fans now are seeing her pathetic in being in this state. Hope she do not end in even worst place. If she is unwell, professional help she should seek. Do not defamed others and build up using or hiding behind young peoples and etc. Businesses matters are to be Professionally resolved Legally.🙏🏼

You are so on point on each of the elements you mentioned. She dressed for pity, to look abused and to show herself as the underdog. I was waiting for facts from her end, thinking she is a business woman, but all she gave out is drama. And even the supposed reaction of the girl group members came from her.. which she should not have brought up to keep them safe from the spotlight. Kudos to you for your views.

I know you've said this is your last video, but I hope you reconsider once the police release their verdict on the evidence Hybe submitted to them. This is the one channel I've found that educates us on corporate law and makes the situation clear for those of us who want to really understand what's going on.

I wish the person that posted the psychologist/psychiatrist would rerepost the findings. This person, the other day sent the video of MHJ's press conference to a bunch of psychologists/psychiatrists. I can't remember if they were psychologists or psychiatrists. Anyway, they all sent back their findings of what they thought about MHJ at her press conference. They had similar observations about MHJ. They all thought she was trying to manipulate the public. If you posted the psychologists/psychiatrists findings, please post again, so people can see what professionals thinks of MHJ at the press conference.

Apparently Koreans are supporting her after this press conference. Why ? Did she provide proof ? So far i didn't understand anything. I thought it was maybe because i can't understand the language and some things get lost in translation. So I would be happy for a breakdown from a Korean. Anyone know what's going on?

Exactly my point I came from the korean side and all of comments were support her and see her as brave for speaking up against a big company. It has to do with bang pd his text messages and tone, using media play agsinst mhj also timeline of nj debut etc..

From what I’ve seen she was using the empathic mother/aunt routine. She was tearful telling everyone she loves those girls like her own and how much they support her etc. she played the victim card. I think this support won’t last long, as more people like John are critiquing the conference and are upset that it looks like she is using the girls to her advantage! Because they are young they won’t understand what she did wrong and that she brought their names in to the discussion to gain support from their fan base. Very messy.

I think this press conference was totally unnecessary seeing as she didn't present any actual evidence to refute hybes claims but instead name dropped a few other groups, new jeans and their parents which has brought hate towards that particular group. They should sort this mess legally and internally. The innocent ones like the artists are the ones getting affected the most. I don't know what she was thinking while conducting this press conference everything's a mess.

Hybe/Big Hit didn't get to where they are without doing things legit/right. This woman came on the scene not long ago yet trouble ensued. That in itself is already telling me who is the rat. The greedy and ruthless woman!

I agree with what you are saying here sir, I watched her press-con many times on different channels but in my opinion, when she appeared on the screen I felt it already like some drama only, I don't see the sincerity of all that she is saying. She wants pity from other people. and she is already guilty of all she did. I don't see her being sorry for that. She saying out of the topic which is not related to that issue, sorry if am saying this, but this is my opinion of her. she's laying.

She sounds like she has lived in a bubble of being the one in power and abusing her staff. Aren't some staff saying that she is a nightmare boss? She comes off as delusional now that she has to face regular people and the law.

Also, interesting that this whole debacle is going on while BTS are away at the military 🤔 I am a BTS stan but that's not to say I don't have respect for the other groups involved in the Idol system. Ador is worth 1.5 billion dollars , this was in 2023 , when she was given the stocks.

Which part? The military or the copying part? She is saying its HYBE who is making false accusations. She never claims that BTS copied her. Basically HYBE is trying to use the bts army to go against her.

She never wished for BTS to go to the military like HYBE claims. I think people took out of context when she says it will be an opportunity to promote NJ while BTS is away.

I think it’s her (and her lawyers) tactic to get public sympathy since she’s on a losing battle. I don’t believe her either, too much of playing victim, and that’s not someone that impresses me. She’s super smart and this… was her approach and (unfortunately) it works, I see comments from many people symphatizing with her 🙄🙄 Whenever someone is evading the main context that means there’s something that you are evading

Who knows what's really going on, maybe she's getting overly emotional because she's being cornered, but there are better ways to do this, I feel bad for new jeans, they deserve better, I hope they're ok
