K.M.V. - 3.12.2 Joe Rocchead surprises Big U during Interview in regards to Module 4800 in 1986
Ойын-сауық
In Part 2 Premiere of the Big U series Joe Rocchead from Santana Blocc Compton Crips and Founder of I-Can Foundation walks in on Big U during the middle of conversation about Mens Central Jail in Downtown Los Angeles where these two first met in 4800 Crip Module during the 1980s. The respect these two display for one another is amazing but to understand how far these individuals have come with their own organizations is more impressive.

@@bigmanz1000 that's what's interesting to me is how all the different cliques from the 60s united and becamr one. Big Cat did drop some Jewels and laced us with some dope history and l loved it. Quietly any insight and history on the 60s is treasured. I do wish you all the best and have a great weekend. Peace!!!

Maaan, it felt good to see Big U smile when Rocchead was acknowlegding his growth, people can talk down on the past, but the reality is that we are all here now witnessing the redemption of a people within a culture, and it's these type brothers that can show those who seek safe passage to the way out, I truly believe that whichever way LA goes, so goes the black men of America in general, ...A1 series Team KMV!

Man Melly Mel...4800 was the Gladiator of all Gladiators! Fresh out of YA from doin 4 years and I caught a hot one. Going to 4800 that 1st night was like going into the dungeons 4reals. Trash on the tear, dingy, and cold as a m.f..When they released for breakfast and they had to walk by the day room and I seen all the homies I was in elementary skoo with, juvenile hall, YA, and now to the Penn...Thats where I was taught how to make kisu's cuz we was on our way up. I took a deal for 19 years 8months. 2 years in 4800 fighting my case...

Wow, OG Andre is a real reputable guy. Don't know him but he just add a pinch of some realness. If you noticed, he corrected the interviewer referencing Big U's family as a "gang", and preferred them to a "team". He then opted not to mention names of guys who were the first identifiable 60s. Felt that stand-up never fold energy from him regardless of the platform. This guy needs to be a featured guest.

Joe Rocchead super solid. Only real ones will pull up wherever and whenever like that. In my opinion that's the epitome of being a CRIP. Shout out to Big U for showing that genuine love back. We got enough angry face niggas out here in these streets who give Crippin a bad name.

Big U mentioned my city Baton Rouge where he set up shop at one time. Back in the 80s in Southside BR, there was a gang called The Southside Wrecking Crew who claimed Crip. I wonder if he had his hand in that. One of the most notorious killers from BR at the time is named Silky Slim is from south BR. He moved to L.A. in his teenage years and came back repping Harlem 30s (Rolling 30s). He does a lot for the black community in B R. now.

Another official classic interview! Once again, Kev Mac and Smac connecting all the dot and not afraid to verify info and get an accurate history!
First of all, shout out to Kev Mac for bringing us these top notch, intriguing, interesting, interviews. Second of all, at times I see a lot of dudes hating on Hannibal. Hannibal and baby crazo was my next door neighbor in Ironwood around the year 2000. Hannibal was a cool, and Karen dude who always try to keep the peace among blacks, as much as one could in prison considering it's gang-related politics, and all. I specifically remember him spearheading and organizing a men's day where all the brothers regardless of hoods affiliation etc etc came together on the yard we had one big giant meal prepared by each building, sodas, lots of food fun basketball and all. So much respect and shout out to Hannibal keep doing your thang!!!
Thank you Mr.. Kev Mack.. Truth should be told...I have lots of family in L.A. some of them are Crips I'm from Oakland California..
