As a young gang member, i bought this book when i was 14 in 1994. I still have it, R.I.P. Kody, he actually got out and helped folks before his passing. Being an active Crip in thw 80s 90s and early 2000s was a lot different with the color's, violence, and penalties. Thank God i made it, been shot ,stabbed, and lived a life full of loss n pain. IT'S NOT WORTH IT KIDS. these kids need fatbers and guidance like most of us never had.

That is what happens when you leave the Father out of kids life and when you choose to keep them to yourself. It became a dangerous situation when you were too selfish and robbed the father of being a parent.

And she still doesn't seem to see that is the point when everything went down hill. Look at where they lived when she was with the father versus where they lived when she chose to put it all on her back. Then she has the nerve to put it out there like he chose to leave them. She produced two non productive street hoodlums.

@@bobbytaylor7414 They were not in gangs when their dad was around. And they lived better. If there is a lack of communication and commitment to work together in regards to the children and how/where they are raised you most certainly can include the parents in the equation. Especially if she chose to cut the father off entirely to raise them as they were solely hers. Not only that but raise them in a gang infested environment bc your choice put you in a situation financially where that's the only place you can afford to live. You certainly can factor in the parents choices.
