I love how much more natural the wing patterns look on Ember. Unlike Molten Spike being held up by his detached looking wings (like a puppet of Ayzat), Ember's are only enhanced by her gained power. That, and the magical scarf isn't invasive, but complimentary and protective. She is still the one in control. Thorax's eyes being love pink is a great detail too!

Love Thorax's Eastern dragon design as he looks super awesome! I also like the design of Ember's wings and the glowing runes on her scythe. The lyrics and the instrumentals are done very excellently I like how it makes me feel energized as I'm sure are Ember and Thorax to avenge those who have fallen and free Spike after being corrupted. Thank you once again Jyc Row for giving us a super awesome song for February 2023!!!

Consequences with so much magic... Honestly, that range can be from just burning out to being taken over by the spirit providing it. The music sells what's going on, with it swirling and dropping as she catches her footing, aligning with Thorax. They ready for a fight to end all fighting, right then and there. I admit though, the two Goddesses were kinda feeling...TOO invincible and I was losing a bit of investment in the story until these songs showing the heroes getting powers that can fight back. Granted, even if I wasn't as invested in the story itself, the music has been so awesome I can't help but listen anyway.

Thing is, there's a reason I made them that powerful - first one is that it'd be detailed in the IE:Origin novel series Second one, it's also because the "main story" happens 300 years after the current event (current event being what happens now, with show characters) Unfortunately, I'm not as fast as I'd like to be to develop the story ce Though, of course, no matter what's in front of them, considering the situation they are in, the UEP will fight anyway, they won't just not wait there and die :p They will have some victories in battles. Maybe not the war but, at least... They'll show the High-Priestesses that they aren't the ants they think they are!

Trying to piece together the story of infinity eclipse is the challenge of a lifetime, but from what I’ve seen I’m impressed… The writers definitely manage to hold up to the songs.

One day, seemingly out of nowhere, Celestia became Daybreaker. She ruled with an iron hoof and would not listen to reason, not even to Luna. Luna was forced to forge a rebellion to fight her, dubbed "The Lunar Rebellion." Unfortunately, Daybreaker was too powerful, and Luna's army burned to ash. In an act of desperation, Luna became Nightmare Moon once again to try and dethrone her sister once and for all. There were loyalists on both sides (see: Sun of the Night and Night Queen), and Equestria was nothing but a war zone. Eventually, soldiers of both sides began to notice that they were destroying the home they love so much, and turned against their leaders. Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon called a temporary truce between them to kill their traitors (see: Together, Against the Sisters). Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon were ultimately slain by the rebels - only for the surviving citizens of Equestria to witness not a new era of peace, but the resurrection of two ancient goddesses. Celestia and Luna had merely been these goddesses' vessels, and now that they were dead, the goddesses were free to return to life (see: Final Eclipse). Aqasha, the Goddess of Destruction, and her sister Nerath, the Goddess of Nightmares, are sworn enemies, much as Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon were - only 100 times as powerful. They are born of pure magical power. Ponies cannot even go within a certain radius of the goddesses without being killed. With the assistance of their respective High-Priestests, Ayzat (of Aqasha) and Naegissa (of Nerath), the goddesses began resurrecting the ponies who died in the war against Daybreaker/Nightmare Moon, turning them into what are essentially mindless zombies with no other goal than to kill everything that stands in their goddesses' way of eternal reign. Despite hope being seemingly lost, 5 leaders of the United Equestrian Pact refuse to stand down. The leaders are Ember, Lord of the Dragons; Thorax, King of the Changelings; Shining Armor, prince of the Crystal Empire; Spitfire, captain of the Wonderbolts; and Starlight Glimmer, student of Twilight Sparkle and magical prodigy. (See: the UEP themes and Last Ramparts). Lastly, this song details the fight against Spike, who had been corrupted by Aqasha's power and turned into a monster of pure destruction (see: The Wings of Destruction). Ember receives an ancient power gifted to her by an alicorn who had once fought the goddesses long ago. Ember then shared this power with Thorax, who transformed into the beautiful dragon we see in the art here. Additional details: Trixie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity are confirmed crystalized by the art of "Praise Nerath" (and Trixie had already been confirmed dead as Starlight is wearing her cape and hat in the art for Last Ramparts) It was confirmed by Jyc that Applejack and Pinkie Pie are also dead, and it's safe to assume they are now molten. Fluttershy and Discord are unaccounted for, but my theory is they are hiding in Discord's chaos dimension. Twilight is unaccounted for but confirmed alive. This is what we know of the story of Infinite Eclipse so far (minus the details of what happened the last time the goddesses tried to take over the world; aka "Infinite Eclipse Origins")

I love hearing unique songs like this. Not sure if I'll have it on repeat like many of the others (The experimentation is great and beautiful and special and novel, but it's maybe too much of genre mash-up for me ^^'), but it's something wonderful to experience the efforts of a fruitful collaboration. edit: leaving that there, first reaction to the song, but I'm back and I take back what I said. This is going on repeat. Right now.

Lore question: Is it possible that a fort far from the battle where the two sisters (Daybreaker and Nightmaremoon) were killed would not know of their fall? Could, say, a fanatical Lunerist fort behind the front lines hold out against the Christianized still shouting out "For the moon!" They probably wouldn't last long, but still.

It's like an old fighter. The first 2 minutes are powering up and fighting the grunts aka. the Molton or Crystalized. Then the big boss either Ayzat or Nagissa before confronting one or both goddesses. This would make for a good cinematic trailer. Artwork is amazing as always!

The lyrics and the music alone portrayed the determination of Ember and Thorax perfectly as they go to fight, and hopefully save, Spike and all the others effected by the Infinite Eclipse! I really like the difference between wings of destruction and this one, when wings of destruction make me feel like it's over, that I can't do anything, and then comes this song that gives me the feeling that there's always hope and the will to get up and go. Amazing work and I'm really looking forward to more.

Virtus is one of the seven members of the Primordial Pantheon: he's the King of Heroes. I already made themes for three of those members (Ardenu, Ventae and Fulmen) and Virtus is the next on that list! Ember looks so badass while holding a scythe in her shoulder . Jenny beauty vocal combine with Ziv awesome guitar skills create such a heroic and magnificent scene . It also 20% cooler when she is riding on Thorax back . King Virtus sure really wise when choosing Ember as his descendent , feel like she was his daughter . Before I start analyzing and theorizing a paragraph worth of stuff, lemme just say this is all pretty epic! The music gives a tired, but forever hopeful emotion to Ember's voice as well as acknowledging the tragedy that has fallen upon so many of her friends and other creatures. PLUS THOREX LOOKS EPIC AS ALL GET OUT I MEAN WHAT!?!?!?!?! um, right. In other news, I'm curious now, I've taken a look at the lore docs and I'm wondering if Ember (and maybe even Thorax) will survive to live another day after the prequel, since they have the magic of what's basically another God helping them out here. Before, it was completely hopeless with a weakened mortal army against literal Goddesses. But now things are starting to even out. Especially if they find one or two more artifacts (though that's highly unlikely) I know they won't win nor the Goddesses stopped, since there's the main story still going on. But I can't help but hope a few of them will make it out to lead the survivors to safety, scathed but alive and not turned to the undead. Plus, since Ember gave Thorax a bit of the magic, maybe the consequences that Virtus talked about won't be as dire on Ember. Who knows? Also a bit off topic, I can only imagine how Twilight's feeling right about now, since this all technically happened while she was ruling Equestria. She's probably beating herself up about it, which isn't helped that not all of her friends are even still there or alive to comfort her. (RIP Rainbow, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Spike [I know Flutters is alive but she ain't here right now tho]) Love the music, love the artwork, love the story, keep being awesome dude!😊

I stated it before in some comments, but there won't be any official show character in the Main Story (not in Origin), mainly due to copyright reasons. So, unfortunately, the only thing I can do in Prequel's Finale is to make them fantastic heroes! I do have many ideas, about how they'd end, but ye... Main Story is 300 years after prequel after all ;)

Oh that is so calm yet so terrifying. I love it. But here's an idea for the audiobook so all this great music you're producing doesn't go to waste what if Vinyl Scratch, Octavia and some other music Pony were composing these to help strike fear into daybreaker and Nightmare Moon but then Octavia with crystallized into making calmer orchestrated music for nerath and Vinyl Scratch was Molten-ied, whatever the term is, for aqasha to make more heavy Rock and epic style music. For the last music Pony is tasked with the the resistance to make music for them. Essentially all three effectively trying to strike fear into the others through music and to further the rule. Which could lead into a great duet between Octavia and Vinyl Scratch in their new forms. I can just imagine the possibilities. Like almost like a fourth battle between everything else going on but just through music, and I'm only suggesting the idea is because MLP really loves their music for some reason and I think personally that a music battle could be very good for your audiobook but also give you more ideas, and an excuse, for you to make more awesome music.

I love that some parts of the song caught me off guard. For example, at the beginning, I expected a beat drop, but there wasn’t one, and I really think that fit. Ember’s voice was a surprise, but like I said, it fits. You can tell she’s exhausted beyond belief, yet her strength and determination shines through. My only critique is there’s a little too much electronic music, so maybe if some more bass was added, it would’ve leveled it out, but that’s just my personal opinion. Overall, it’s a really good experimental piece. Great job to you and everyone who participated in this! 😁😁🔥

I was a little underwhelmed by the song at first, I’m used more to the orchestral epicness that has been used for most of IE’s themes, but the lyrics are very catchy and I think this will end up growing on me. Nice work as always! Thorax’s godly dragon form is super epic.

Questions: You stated that Virtus is speaking to Ember, but you also said that the Primordial Pantheon sacrificed themselves to defeat the goddesses. Is he speaking to her from another plane of existence? I know you've stated this in a Google doc, but what are the priestesses' motivation? I believe you said it wasn't for personal gain, so is it just how they were raised? If by some miracle, what would happen if the priestesses decided to ditch for whatever reason?

While they aren't there physically anymore, they "reappeared" when the two Goddesses were reborn. Let's say they're... mmh... "pure magic", and the fact that Ember is holding his artifact is also why she's able to hear his voice a bit. It's indeed not for their personal gain and, before the Goddesses' rebirth, they were following blindly the cult of their respective Goddess, written in a very ancient book. Then, afterward, well... they just follow their Goddesses goal, which will be revealed in the Infinite Eclipse Origin light novels :)

@@JycRow I know this is kinda late, but I came up with more questions: How powerful were Ayzat/Naegissa pre-alicornification? (Powerful magic,strong flight,etc.) How did the cult managed to stay hidden for 25,000 years? Or did they get discovered at points? Speaking of the cult, what happened to the rest of them? My assumption is that they were molten/crystallized. If so,do they have any special positions? Or are they just mindless soldiers? You stated that the goddesses are causing destruction because it was their purpose. You also said that the goddesses respect each other and aren't fighting like wild beasts. But other than that, are they just cold and emotionless? What would happen if Twilight,Cadence and/or Flurry Heart were molten/crystallized? You stated that Ayzat's and Naegissa's themes are sung in Ancient Alicornish and you gave English translations for both. Do Aqasha,Ayzat,Nerath and Naegissa have any special meanings like a name would in real languages?

[The rest of the Last Ramparts stand up from behind other burned cars in the highway]. EMBER. How much further? SHINING. We're almost there. EMBER. Well, we need to hurry. We can't be out in the open much longer. She'll come for us. STARLIGHT. Let her come. Let the bastard come. [Starlight grabs Terramar's Trident from her back]. [A distant explosion sounds. Ember opens her eyes and looks to the sky]. EMBER. She's found us. [The Last Ramparts look to the sky and see a flaming figure flying towards them and landing in the highway. Ember holds the Bloodstone Scythe. Thorax transforms into a dragon. Starlight holds Terramar's Trident. Spitfire aims Spitfire's Thunder. Shining draws Longclaw. Chrysalis cackles]. CHRYSALIS. At last. Second round, Celly. [Aqasha rises and smiles].

Of course. If I'm being honest, a lot of your music, such as Onward through Wings of Destruction have been phenomenal, and a huge positive influence towards the Pathfinder campaign I've been writing. If anything man, just keep on keeping on , because you're doing great be me, and everyone else too it seems

It's really great music. Still, Amber and Thorax look ominous and I doubt this power is free. But I really appreciate this idea of seeing the heroes push to their last limits until they accept strange powers coming from a voice in their head (it reminds me of the moment Luna accepts the powers of Nigthmare moon), they don't have nothing left to lose so they try. I can see the villains of the series (Chrysalis, Tirex, Cozy Glow see Sombra) being woken up with the motive “anyway, we have nothing more to lose”.

I have a lore question I was listening to the goddesses themes and nerath’s theme has a line saying we will be your tempest. Aqasha’s theme has a line saying now our hearts are raging through the storm was the planned or a coincidence

Like Aqasha and Nerath, it's not really "words" Virtus is using to speak to Ember - he's directly going in her mind. She said it's a voice but it's something that coming from her heart and the scythe!

Lore question. is this Virtus some kind of god? An equivalent of the goddesses? Is he just a spirit of an ancient hero?

Well, if you're interested in the lore, I strongly advice you to check the links in the pinned comment, especially the lore document about "Infinite Eclipse: Origin", an upcoming light novel series. Virtus is one of the seven members of the Primordial Pantheon: he's the King of Heroes. I already made themes for three of those members (Ardenu, Ventae and Fulmen) and Virtus is the next on that list! Check as well the "INFINITE ECLIPSE'S INFORMATION / LORE" document, there are a lot of information about everything that has been released so far ;)

This was interesting and to (sorry if I got it wrong) very nice work artists to the Chinese changling mix dragon and this dragon rider with ember dragon Lord 🐉interesting fusion l like it carrying on with the good music etc

I was looking at the description for Praise Nerath, and it said it was the second song submitted to P@D. I assumed their was one about Aqasha specifically that was the first one, but I checked the upload dates of the videos and read Wings of Destruction’s closer, and it was actually the one about Molten Spike! I am so sorry 😞
