What an incredible sportswoman Justin is! She is one player I idolised in my youth because of her work ethics and conduct on and off the court. It's unfortunate that her career ended abruptly by injuries, which is the saddest part about sports.

Justine should is a role model for small sized women in the game. I mean look at her, seven grand slams and in almost all the finals she played her opponents were much bigger than her. But it's her talent that spoke.

What an amazing athlete. Not the tallest, not the strongest, not the fastest, but most definitely the smartest player. The most technically sound and smart player on tour. That backhand is still the holy grail of backhands till this day on the women’s tour.

She was one of the quickest and fastest. Although not monstrously towering and powerful. She had enough skill and agility. Ask Tracy Austin.

She's been intelligent to say 'szop' - 'I want a life beyond first rank tennis.' And right she was - She has beaten all the 'idols' of women tennis, won the olympics BTW, and NOBODY thought such a frail looking person could do that. Well she did. I would call it more than 'against all odds' in women's tennis. Kudos and much love for a early admirer. 💕

I don't know about Hingis (although I'm Swiss - I never was a Hingis fan myself I always cheared for Patty Schnyder)! I would add Henin's idol Steffi Graf to the list and would exchange Nadal with Björn Borg! (I'm just that old school!) Technically Federer was even better than Justine! But I wouldn't mix men and women ... 😇

@@seanjenkins331 that's probably becos the Williams brought a whole new level to the women's game with power. Without power, they might not hv successes against Henin, Clijsters, Mauresmo etc. When the others trained n prepared to counter the power, they could beat the Williams. This shows talent n skills can beat power

@@seanjenkins331 that's becos they needed time to improve to deal with the power, and meanwhile Serena is dominating. Mentally i oso believe ppl were intimidated n showed too much respect for her. Once someone shows that Serena can be beaten, more n more players hv that belief that she can be beaten n they started to beat serena.
