When she was at her height of fame there was Angeline, who was famous like the Kardashians are today...famous for just being who they were. It’s not changed that much it’s just been magnified. There are smart people today who are famous and ridiculous people who are famous today. As it has always been and always will be.

Justine is 55 years old, mature, one would not expect someone to have not self reflected and processed their life in their 5th decade of life because its what adults who are supposed to do! The young can't possibly appreciate truly until they too have embraced their own experience. Its part of the process of Nature. There are seasons. Its maturity, its not to be aplauded like some feat of a super human! What is to be aplauded is Justine's choice to write and share her experiences and speak about what is real and what is not. I hope you read her book ...

@@fingerprint5511 Different people embrace or deny their "maturity" in different ways and at different times in their lives. In addition, different cultures and different generations within those cultures deal with and define maturity in their own way. Here in the U.S., some could say that a given 20 year old acts very mature, while others might see the person as too serious and still others may define the behavior as disingenuous. To applaud or disagree with any part of a person's maturity is the choice of each individual.

I have because I work with a bunch of them and they don't dress like that. For starters, she wasn't wearing jeans torn jeans. My mother is 76 and has not a single wrinkle in her face. All natural, no plastic surgery, just been eating healthy food, Glas of wine a day, workout 4 times a week and thinking positive. And to be honest doesn't look a day older than Justin. Does that mean that my mother probably isn't a real person? So a person should look like Ramses III mummy in order to be classified as a real person. Sorry, but at 54 today, an avarage normal healthy person should look better. Not in terms of look itself, because everyone has a personal taste. But overall from biological and medical point of view.

This book should be a prerequisite read for any future actor, singer, reality star, etc. One will truly understand after reading how much the cycle of fame and fame itself is unreal. Almost elusive. Any future child star should definitely have this read to them by any prospective agents, managers, and even their parents!

@@sharondianneb Maybe we have been programmed to elevate famous people since we started watching television. Remember when television had issues...and we would get an error message that states: welcome to your regularly stationed programs. Someone pressed a Hasidic Jewish fellow who owned media stations...and he said...we gave you rap...rock and roll. Please watch the interview with Harold Wallace Rosenthal...it will change the way you perceive media....I guarantee. Peace to you.

For all of Larry King's faults as an interviewer, at least the guests talk more than he does. I've seen so many interviews of people I have an interest in where the interviewer has to make it about themselves.

Vinny D Rosie O Donnell cones to mind. When she had her talk show I can remember that she would ask the guest a question, they would answer with two or three sentences and somehow it would always get back to her and then she pretty much would talk about herself for the remainder of the interview.

Oprah often butts in when someone is about to reveal something. And likes to add her own take too often. Annoying.

I have so much admiration for this woman. She's intelligent, strong, and a great role model to young women. She has refused to turn plastic, as have her contemporaries. I wish people would see past that. Anyone who criticizes her is extremely shallow. Listen to her words, all of you stone throwers.
