Justin had the ball with 1 min and change, down 33-31, all he needed was to drive the Chargers down to fg range, he didn’t do that. Stop blaming the defense. I hope you don’t blame Jim Harbaugh now. I want Herbert to be successful. I’m not a d rider though. I call it how I see it.

Herbert limited his mistakes this year and had some dominate games where they lost or they BARELY won. The invested money into the defense and the defense was straight ass. Where was the running game this year? How about the crucial dropped passes at the end of games? Or the OL falling apart? Should Herbert take some responsibility? Absolutely, be he is FAR from the issue. So not a dick rider, i actually watch the games.

Herbert scored every single td for 5 possessions straight. The defense couldn’t stop them once. The defense has let him down the majority of his career. Just a fact

@@amanahmed705 what happened against the Ravens down 13-10, the defense played lights out, got a stop with 2 minutes and change, Herbert got the ball with a chance to at least get them to fg range and tie the game, 4th and 6 from the 46 yard line, Turn over on downs happened. The ravens got short field and won that game 20-10 with a garbage time td to Zay Flowers. I’ve been a fan of this team since the Doug flutie days, the new fan base is laughable how they protect Justin. Can’t you just admit he must play better. I’ve already said I want him to succeed. But I call a spade a spade.

⁠@@edgarcamacho9567 I agree Herbert could have had a better year, however take into account the injuries he had against him pretty much all season. Against the ravens on that 4th and 6 he had less than a second to throw the ball. None of his receivers were even looking at him, that’s play calling. Don’t even get me started about the coaching he has had to go through since being drafted. He is one of the only bright spots on this team and he has kept us in games when we had no right to be in it. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’m just calling it a spade a spade

I’m a rare dolphins fan that absolutely loves Herbert .. can’t wait to see what he does with his new HC .

Still don't see how people see him play and think he sucks. He kept us in just about every game we played. We need a new good coach ASAP.

The chiefs have struggled mightily with the chargers. It might just be the rivalry, it might just be good competition, but herbo has tended to keep it close despite the shitty situation.

@@hamishthompson4329 The Chargers did want to keep Allen, but he wasn't interested in restructuring his contract. Fair enough.... and he and Herbert certainly did have some real chemistry ... will miss Allen, but not a good long term prospect for the Chargers, so just as well to move on now.

It’s more the Viking/ packers games for me. If you wanna show an example of every Herbert charger game . Show him these 2 games. In the Vikings game he had the most efficient 400 yards game in nfl history. Essentially having one of the greatest games ever. defense sucked. They win by a dropped pass. The packer game. Had one of the best games of any qb this year. they lose because the defense cant make a stop. and a teammate sold him. Essentially he does everything humanly possible and it’s not enough if your teammates are gonna let you down.

Can we please get this man some actual help? Chargers drafted the one dude everyone knew would be a bust while relying on dwarf Eckler for a running game and the brittle combo of broken mike and grandpa keenan. Shocker. Halfway into the season, Herbert once again was throwin to nobody before he ultimately got hurt. Makes me sick. Keenan Allen is great, dont get me wrong but at this point of his career he should be transitioned to a wr2 or a slot. Theyre also SLOW. So freakin slow. Herbery has nobody to take the top off a defense or someone who can take a slant 70 yards. QJ had 40 red flags, #1 of them being how terrible his hands are. Honestly think he would have dropped out of the first. Of course the Chargers took him tho over Zay and Addison 😂😂😂

@@derrickket087 Pacheco is better than Ekeler, Ek was washed this year. Travis is better than Keenan. Andy Reid and Staley isn’t even worth discussing and Mike Will played 2 games and was injured for the rest of the year. Rice is better than QJ and MaHomes defense and OLine were both better

As talented as Herbert is the excuses gotta run out at some point. I get his defense has been bad but I’ve counted multiple opportunities where Herbert failed to win a game when he had the ball last as well. This defense will not be that bad under harbaugh so theres no excuse for Herbert this year

The offense is fine, it’s the defense that always been problem, it doesn’t matter how good your offense is, they cannot overcome a terrible defense.

@@Slade_Chill yea bro, Staley's defensive scheme just wasn't working at all. What amazes me, is Derwin James. Sure, he's not a corner, but look at the history behind him. He is capable of deflecting deep passes to Tyreek Hill, as a ROOKIE. He has shut down Kelce multiple times, he's a TE's kryptonite. He can also deflect passes at the line and rush the QB. Why isn't he more involved at the line of scrimmage? That's where he's a proven monster! Our defense played best when Derwin James is AROUND THE FOOTBALL. Staley said that Derwin James is the center of the entire scheme, but that couldn't be furthest from the truth, or the football. Derwin James is a ball hawk, but Staley's scheme leaves him out there on an island not able to do what he does best. Notice that after Staley was fired, suddenly Derwin James was seen more!
