@@PatriotWatchUSA I say that because more times than not, a QBs situation is highly correlated to their success in said situation. This is why teams with young QBs are getting as much talent around them as possible; Houston just traded for Stefan, the Jags have added at least 1 receiver each of the last 2 years, and you see the bears improving their offense for the arrival of a rookie QB. Justin Fields has shown that with talent (in college) he’s was highly successful, plus we already know he’s talented. The bears did give him DJ Moore they were a top 3 QB-WR duo last year. @@PatriotWatchUSAwhomever his QB coach is/was had to be pretty good seeing that he’s gotten this far already. Maybe look at his OC the past 2 seasons. I know the argument is that “he got hired almost instantaneously,” but he wasn’t the raiders first choice. Also Getsy wasn’t a true play caller nor did he improve Aaron Rodger’s in any way possible. The bears do things like that though, they make superficial hires (Nagy, Getsy and now Waldron). In theory it sounds good but there’s a bigger picture that the bears often times miss. That has to be correlated to the subpar QB success in this team’s history. We will see soon if things have changed I guess. All I know is that Arthur Smith is leaps and bounds ahead of any OC that has been in Chicago in 25 years. Another reason I’m optimistic about Justin

Not to Mention I think that having an older guy that has been a champion and whose been through trails in tribulations this could help him also I would maybe talk to him to pick his brain also. This is a great opportunity for this young Man I’m happy for him and This is coming from an Eagles fan!!!

Most of these highlights are of him running or throwing to a wide open receiver (blown coverage). To get the most out of this player, they should put him in a “Slash” role. Line him up occasionally at WR, RB, QB. Use his speed… Not sure being a primary QB is a future here, backup role, ok. Just what the Steelers need is another failed Chicago QB (Trubisky). I hope I am wrong, or that Wilson will be good again and the Steelers can get a few years out of him.

I’m Bears fan who’s been watching Fields for 3 seasons here’s the pros and cons for you Steeler fans PROS: 1. Unbelievable playmaker/explosive player with run and pass 2. There were many games where I felt Fields was undeniably the best ATHLETE on the Field. 3. Fields is a true leader, his teammates in Chicago all looked to him as the leader despite the BS media reports CONS: 1. A lot of people say he can’t read the field but I think what really gets him in trouble is he was really bad at Pre-snap reads (reading blitz’s, audibles, figuring out disguised coverages) 2. Waits wayyy too long in the pocket because I think he’s always trying to hit the home run play 3. The notion that the bears had a bad offensive line I think was way more on Fields shoulders. Bagent the bears backup who was a rookie was only sacked 5 times in the 4 starts he had in place of fields. DARK HORSE TRAIT: I always felt when Fields committed to throwing he was super accurate and had a very good arm. People think cause his passing numbers weren’t great that he can’t throw….that dude can absolutely spin it BEING LOOKED OVER: Luke Getsy was one of if not the worst offensive coordinator I have seen in 20ish years of being a bears fan (which says a whole lot) Fields not only had below average talent around him but the HC Eberflaus is a motivator style defensive coach so Fields was really left with Luke Getsy. That guy was horrific and would try to pin the failings on Fields all the time. I truly can’t believe he has a job again! Classic Raiders lol OVERALL: I think Fields is going to make some crazy plays in training camp and really make the battle between him and Wilson interesting because not only do I think he’s more talented at this point of their careers but the team is going to want rallying around him more then prima Donna Wilson. Very interested in coming back to this comment to see if I’m right or not about this 😂
