@Tachanka Main lol of that's your take but complete disagree. I'll also actually give a reason why 1. Character dept is better 2. the justice league members actually get shit done 3. Steppenwolf actually has motives 4. The action was phenomenal in my opinion 5. The overall tone was great. (Had humor but not enough to kill the mood and alot of the dialogue was more serious) 6. Darksied 7. The visuals are beautiful and just pleasing to see. I could go on but I'll stop here.

It really makes u wonder what the state of the DCEU would be like today if the snyder cut was released originally in 2017 and Joss Whedon was never brought on. I didn't think the reception was gonna be this huge but it has and it's just a different feeling surrounding the film. Like a myth that came to life and immediately turned into legend.

Zacks style might not be everyone's cup of tea but at least you can respect his passion for what he does. He is an artist and not just a Hollywood hack. I personally liked his vision for the dceu and it's awesome that he got to finish justice league. I even liked bvs and man of steel was a masterpiece, his best film in my opinion.

I disagree, man of steel and bvs were... a bit below average. It’s because Snyder didn’t understand the characters, but I loved the Snyder cut and I think it was amazing 🤩

Man of Steel, BVS and the Snyder cut all together make such an amazing story, I hope that one way or another we get to see Zack’s vision for the next justice league movies.

I've had my fair share of problems with some of Zack Snyder's films, but there's no denying that he has so much passion for the craft of film making and genuinely cares about the stories he tells. I'm so glad he got a second chance to tell the story he wanted to.

Zack ..ever since the start..has astounded me with his visual story telling, unlike anyone else, he's been using the majick of cinema in ways leagues ahead of everyone else. .he has the ability to conjure the whole movie, in detail, in his head, and is able to create the detailed story boards, (just like a comic) to share that vision to everyone working with him.. he's brave, experimental and super passionate about his craft, and clearly ahead of his time for most.. I've personally been waiting for something even close to his vision to appear in cinema for decades. His movies do have their flaws, but over all ..that's not too important, and often because of studio interference. .over all, he's definitely someone to watch .. he hasn't totally perfected his message just yet. ..back to your comment though..he is known for being a really great person, by everyone who works with him, a true role model amongst the many creeps and ego monsters still in the scene.. and I hope he gets to fulfil his DC cinematice vision..because he is a life long fan of the stories he's bringing to life..and no one else could come close to what he is capable of..

Someone commented on my video complaining that cyborg would never mope about becoming cyborg. Hasn’t he in a comic book iteration at least fucking once. Like even if he hasn’t it’s way better than him not. HE BECAME A CYBORG AND LOOKS LIKE A HALF ROBOT THING AND LOST HIS MOTHER. WHY WOULDNT HE BE UPSET

Zack Snyder intended Justice League to be a multi-part story and it's clear from ZSJL that it's only the tip of the iceberg ("the tip of the tip of the iceberg," as Silas Stone said). I mean, what comics fan doesn't want to see the Justice League go up against Darkseid? What comics fan would have preferred what we got in 2017 over this? If we can get more of this and convince WB to listen to the fans and let creators do their thing, that can only be a good thing.

The coordinated "nope" nod at 10:00 made it clear that the snyderverse is canon for us.

I find it hilarious that the WB execs are calling the Snyder cut a cul-de-sac, I think their decisions are a creative cul-de-sac going in circles to absolutely nowhere....and the fact that I now know that they robbed us of a cinematic DCEU Death in the Family scene is unforgivable #RestoreTheSnyderverse

I find it interesting how Snyder is doing all the promotion for this movie. Normally the actors do it and get all the spotlight but given the journey to this film, I think it is fitting that Snyder is doing it all

My guess is the actors are just exhausted by the whole experience and don't want anything to do with it. They loved Zack but they probably also know WB is just going to shit on any hopes people have. The marketing for the original JL was brutal where you could see Affleck just mentally going, "I don't want to be here getting blamed for this shit."

There’s also contractual issues with it too. As much as the cast would love to do press junkets to promote the film, they would need to be paid. So the most you’ll see them promote it is through Twitter and IG.

@@darianstarfrog He's on one of those directors and I don't want to say Kubrick or Leone but I will. Those guys were true auteurs and were misunderstood in there time by a lot of critics with the exception of a handful of them. They knew what they were doing was bold, challenging, thought provoking, entertaining and yet artful in the genre when so many are just copycats. All those guys did some crazy stuff in the genre and subverted it and challenged audiences and some audiences loved it and some hated it or were left scratched their heads and didn't get it. Zack Snyder's films polarize audiences and split people down the middle but over time his work will be more and more appreciated and respected, the tide has turned somewhat. Of course #restorethesnyderverse

Now I can't help but imagine what Christopher Nolan's home theater looks like...

He managed to shoot scenes amid the pandemic’s sporadic shutdowns and even managed to do pick up shots in his own driveway - that then the studio told him to toss out. It seems hr has had it up to here with the WB. I bet he found shooting his zombie flick with Netflix refreshing. From what I heard Netflix doesn’t interfere with production like Disney and WB does.

Sadly an issue no unlike back in 2013-14 with the Arrowverse with characters such as Deadshot, the Suicide Squad, Batman, and so on: they are afraid that people will get confused if there is more than one version of the character. And since they are developing a GL series for Max, and there is a GL movie in production hell, they likely said no.

In every interview he does, Zack seems so genuine and excited to talk about these stories. So happy for him and Debby, they deserve this success and praise.

This film is so good. I'm about watch it for the third time after watching BvS again.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League was an absolute masterpiece. If WB doesn’t green light at least two more movies with him, I will have lost all faith in humanity.

That's what Snyder was alluding to the really 'scary stuff' in the concept arts.

Man wish the interview was longer. All interviewers were great.

It's interesting that Superman makes reference to Bruce and Lois in BvS with "she was my world and you took her from me". But then that angle was removed by WB from JL so now the baby is Clark's. However, this could actually make for an interesting take on the Flash scene in BvS. It would go: Flash came from Timeline A (the first time Superman turned, where Lois is pregnant with Bruce's child) and tells Bruce Lois is the key, save Lois...but he's too early. This creates Timeline B, where Bruce is given this message and wonders on it. He never enters a relationship with Lois as he is haunted by this. In timeline B (which we see at the end of ZSJL) Flash goes back in time but this time with more understanding of when to go and what to say. Now he goes to the Batcave just before Darkseid arrives and is again told to save Lois. This time he has a chance to get to Lois before Darkseid appears and saves her, sacrificing himself. This creates Timeline C, where the JL unite the forces of Earth and defeat Darkseid. Not perfect....as Clark would have had to get Lois pregnant while he was alive....but hey ho!

Snyder is such a down to earth guy. I’m not the biggest fan of his style but I have nothing but respect for him. His cut is what should have been in theaters

Thank you Zack Snyder its been a good 30 years since i felt the wonder of cinema. You have no idea just how positively impactful the art you and your awesome team have created. Any haters wanna fight me . Go ahead. All i have to say i dont have to justify my point of view.

Dude has always been ahead of his time..there's too many ego maniacs, no talent hacks, jealous haters, traditional extremists and biyter critics voiceing their disdain in studio ears, for them to realise what they truly have. ..the theatrical cut debacle should have never happened. .and he should be allowed to finish what could have always been, a top contender to rivil the MCU. People can be so stupid sometimes ..

@@darianstarfrog true bro. The project was delayed as Snyder grew tired battling the studio heads on decisions in the midst of a personal crisis. He was never fired he walked away. But the executives got greedy and insisted to rush edit the project bringing in mr Ginger face to reshoot scenes and cut shit up. Just for a bonus pay check which caused the reputation of their JL IP to decline. Has to be the poorest business decision ever by a studio.

My god. Studios really are the problem with movies. They have agendas and deadlines and they only want to make money. No care for fans. We need directors to start having free reign.

Excellent interview Sean as always! It just pisses me off knowing that studio WB doesn't want to give Zack full autonomy to complete his vision and finish the Superman story arc. I would have liked to see John Stewart as Green Lantern in the ZSJL movie but obviously WB is still putting the spades in the wheels once again. I really like Zack for the excellent work of cinematic art that we provide and introduce us to our favorite superheroes on the big screen. I am of the same opinion as Jake Hamilton for me Henry Cavill is my Superman forever. I send a lot of love for Zack Snyder and his family. #RestoreTheSnyderVerse

Zack and Rippa need to do the entire DCEU together. Zack’s reverence and Rippa’s knowledge of the classics would make this universe epic. We’ll never get something so sensible but that’d be awesome.

I just found this channel. I’ve been following your other channel at Cinema Blend for quite a while. Great interview and even after a year of ZSJL’s release it’s still a movie that is still in such high demand! In fact, just in my opinion only, ZSJL is such a great movie that it has become the movie that I always revert back to (in the same manner of having a drink after a stressful day) after watching highly anticipated movies that disappoint, for example: The Batman, Thor L&T, Jurassic World Dominion, CW and some Disney+ shows, etc. I personally hope for the Snyderverse to be restored and exist alongside everything else and really unite the fandom.

Kevin McCarthy acts exactly how I'd act if I got a chance to speak to Zack Snyder. Giddy and excited lol

Listening to Zack tells me he invested a lot of thought and passion in this universe... we need WB to let him create more movies!!!

The real Justice League (ZSJL) is a beautiful movie on so many levels. The connection that Zack Snyder has to the characters of DC goes beyond being a fan/storyteller. These characters are heroes because of the tragedy that they overcome. Being an adoptive parent like Zack Snyder ties him spiritually to the plight of orphans and children who have lost parents. Like Superman, Batman, Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, etc. In many ways, it makes Zack's loss of Autumn all the more tragic. I can't think of a more perfect director than Snyder to tell this story.

It was cool when Zack defended us. “What ‘toxic’ fan movement raises a million dollars for suicide prevention?” Good question Zack. I’ll always feel connected to this movement as long as I live. I was here from the beginning, because I lost my sister to suicide. So this was more than just a movement for a movie for me. It was a movement for suicide prevention that happened to get a movie made. That’s how I like to look at it.

I WISH THERE A MULTIVERSE WHERE WE CAN SEE THIS WHOLE SYDER'S AMAZING VISION :( KEEP WITH THE HASHTAG EVERYDAY... BUT DOESN'T SEEM THAT THIS IS HAPPENING THIS TIME :'( ANYONE CAN JUST TELL ME "NO, YOURE WRONG! WE WILL" :(

After Watchmen and especially Dr. Manhattan's origin scene, I have never felt that depth of emotions again in such movies. That scene made me love Zack Snyder's work. So much style and with substance too. It's tough to find. But he truly understands it. Visuals...Music... Dialogues...Emotions. In his work, they somehow all come together beautifully complementing each other and uplift a scene to mythical and epic plane. I have been waiting for it to happen again. But none of the movies nowadays reach there. Years later, felt same in the BvS opening scene (A Beautiful Lie) and now during Cyborg helping the lady scene and Flash reversing time. These are my absolute favorite scenes in every sense. They contain so much packed in them. Thank You Zack for creating such deeply moving and beautiful masterpiece! You have proven that our faith in you was justified. #RestoreTheSnyderverse.

I said this waaay back in 2014-15 but I REFUSE to trust the DC IP unless it has Zack involved with it in some form or another. It's just not the same without his raw passion you know? NO other showrunner, past or future, can generate nearly as much hype as he can for DC. Period. #RestoretheSnyderVerse

I think it took josstice league to really appreciate the comic book type adaption Zack gives. He tries to keep things true or at least pull scenes from comic books and commits to them. I have never been a huge fan of Zack Snyder but he is perfect for the DC universe and what we got from Joss whedon is proof it's not always greener on the other side 😂

It kind of makes me sad that Zack telling the plot of sequels because it will never happen...... Warner Bros are self-destroying themselves...
