J'onn in general is such an underrated character and Carl Lumbly's performance I think brings so much heart to him. I think my favorite moment of his is when his faith in humanity is restored after he overhears a group of strangers helping a family find their lost daughter

Justice League Animated was a very grown up show honestly. As a kid I enjoyed the action but now that I'm older I appreciate the in depth story telling

I'm having such an awful and bothersome day today. I feel like anyone and everyone pisses me off. But here comes my favorite Flash announcing a JL reunion on his podcast. You are a superhero indeed, Machiel. Thank you!! I love these people.

Rosenbaum and the whole cast, I was 4 years old when Justice League premiered. It had such a profound impact on me that I have a distinct memory of sitting with my dad at the foot of his bed, eating fruity pebbles and meeting my heroes for the first time. JLA and JLU were my introduction to superheroes. You guys are the reason I love comics and all things superhero. Even in my 20s, I regularly rewatch this show and plan to show it to my son as soon as he is old enough. Thank you for bringing this magic to my childhood. I'm so excited for more Justice League!

I was 4 when it started but didn't start watching until I was about 5 but have been a life-long fan ever since

Justice League is an excellent show. So many intense episodes and started off with that banger of a three parter.

i love listening to this with my eyes closed. it's like the JLA having a casual everyday conversation!

That's why the Martian Manhunter vibe passed on to his character in Supergirl. I swear, you can hear J'onn J'onzz when M'yrnn is talking.

remember having the cartoon crush on Shayera/Hawkgirl as a kid and my god has Maria aged like a fine wine.. not just a sexy voice..

Carl is so calming. Proud to know he's a Minnesotan.

Went to NYCC2015 and Kevin Conroy signed my steelbook dvd Justice League case and it was totally worth it. Even got a photo op with him as well. This show was such a ground breaking show because the quality in storytelling as well as getting the right actors/actresses for the respective roles made it a winner for Cartoon Network. Kevin Conroy is the connective tissue for the DCAU. I was sad that Tim Daly didn't return to reprise his role as Superman but I get it since he was filming the Fugitive tv series in the early 2000's. George Newbern made the role his own and brought that leadership so well as the season's progressed. Carl Lumbly from Alias was great as J'onn J'onzz because he brought that zen light performance and you needed that for the Justice League. Maria Canals as Hawkgirl brought that fierce performance which fit the role perfectly. The rest of the cast rounding up with Phil LaMarr, Michael Rosenbaum, Susan Eisenberg brought their A game in this show.

The guest stars this show had was impressive with Eric Roberts as Mongul, Mark Hamill returning as the Joker and Trickster, Alexis Denisof from Angel & Buffy as Mirror Master, Lex Lang as Captain Cold, Adam Baldwin as Jonah Hex, Hal Jordan, Rick Flag; Robert Forester as The President of the US, CCH Pounder as Amanda Waller, Powers Boothe as Gorilla Grodd, David Ogden Stiers as Solovar, Phil Morris as Vandal Savage, Brad Garrett returning as Lobo, Oded Fehr as Kent Nelson aka Doctor Fate, Michael Beach as Devil Ray and Black Manta says this was a certified show for sure.

As iconic as everyone here was to my childhood, hearing Phil LaMarr do John Stewart was the highlight of the scene. He's by far my favorite Green Lantern and I desperately want John Stewart in a live action version.

I want to see Newbern and Daly together. Would love to hear their takes on their Superman together.

In one of the multiverse DC Earths, Phil Lamarr's MADtv UPS guy is The Flash.🤣

Phil LaMarr somewhat recently said in an interview that his fan-base doesn't really overlap and that people who know him as a few characters never hear and never watch other shows where he voices other characters and it's so true. I only know him as Green Lantern, Samurai Jack and...(less/barely talked about, anywhere) as Vulgrim, in the Darksiders video-games series. His voice with that character is so vastly different from anything I heard from him (as he demonstrated some of his characters in that same interview). I have to SEE him do Vulgrim. I mean, of course, I believe it's him, but the voice he uses is just so incredible and different that I just have to see it come out of him. Same with e.g.: Jennifer Hale. Everyone will instantly know what voice(s) she's most known for and is easily recognizable a lot of the times. But, for her, also, there is one particular voice that is hard to imagine coming out of her and that is Krem in Dragon Age Inquisition. Similarly to Phil LaMarr, I have to see her do the voice just to "un-eff" the "F" in the "mind****" both voices give me, when I try to imagine how the hell it could come out of them. It's unreal!

Michael, If they ever bring back a sequel series to Unlimited on maybe HBO Max, PLEASE consider returning 🙌 You’re the voice I imagine for Flash forever ⚡️🏃‍♂️

I can't count how many times, I shared this. At first I was upset Kevin couldn't join the group. But, then thought. What a complete Batman thing to do. Hahaa, I'm lucky to be old enough to have seen this Show as it aired. I probably was in High School at the time. Thank you, Sooo Soooo, much everyone for getting back together again. What a treat to hear you all in character again. I'll support you all. Keep the fight up, to get these wonderful people back together again, in a official reunion. Asking people if they want more Justice League with you guys is ridiculous. Of goddamn course we want. You ARE the Justice League. I've re-watched the JL and JLU many times. I would gladly pay you myself to get another season... or ten.

I rewatched them last August because I still love it so much, these guys and gals will always be my favorite portrayal of the DC Heroes, Its weird to think if not for them I may not have gotten into DC, and now the shows, movies, books, etc. Are something I talk about all the time, a coworker of mine and I were just talking about the show today.

Didn’t realize he voiced Martian Manhunter, that explained why he plays Martian Manhunters dad on Super Girl

I miss this show I wish it did come back like this show was literally one of the best shows

Maria Canals looks more like Wonder Woman than Susan Eisenberg the voice of Wonder Woman. Was confused on who was who for the moment.

I swear when michael threw the marshalls/martian punchline, I thought the skit already ended lol!

Even though I was an adult at the time I watched Justice League anyway largely because the writing was so good (the voice acting was, of course, excellent as well). Amazing that was nearly twenty years ago. Egads, I'm old!

That episode of Jusice League where Lex and Flash swap minds is my all time favorite. Especially the line where you as Lex are leaving the bathroom and get asked if you are gonna wash your hands. "No. Cause I'm evil." LOL!!!!

This is what I’ve been waiting for since this podcast started. It was way better than I imagined. Carl Lumbly’s story was heart breaking and heart warming at the same time.

What a great Murderer's Row of powerhouse character actors. This cartoon was prime stuff. Great stories, beautifully told.

Jl/JLU were written so well that they are good to watch as a kid, teen and adult and you get something different from them each time

My daughter has been binge watching JL and JLU. We have the discs. So, second gen achieved!

The mall was hilarious. Micheal rosenbaum should write comedies.

I grew up with the 90s Superman and Batman, JL/JLU and even though I'm old now I still love to rewatch it from time to time, because for a kids show it's still really great for adults too, I love this reunion so much, it's awesome to see all my childhood heroes here.

Same xD When I found out the voice of JL Wally West had a YT podcast I was interested right in.

The Justice League cartoon was the greatest representation of DC's characters outside of the comics and Michael, your Lex Luthor is hands down the best. Thank you for doing these podcasts focusing on the people who has brought these DC characters to life on screen. It's been a treat for me to go back and hear these, Clancy Brown was a real surprise.

Gotta recognise the fact that this is the best Lex and Flash. Will always be one of my all time fave actors 💯

So many flashbacks every time any of them speak, almost makes it hard to pay attention (but in a good way). Love this!!

This show is literally my childhood, and my adult self appreciates this during 2020 🤣🤣🤣

More Susan as Wonder Woman?! YES PLEASE! My all-time favorite!

Great episode, truly enjoyed this one. Sad to hear about Carl's late wife, I'm glad he was able to open up a little. Loss is hard to get over, especially how close you are with the person, coming on the anniversary of a close friend's death so this was a much-needed episode. Also wasn't sure how it would go with more than two people but it worked out nicely. Would be great to see a cartoon Justice League movie as a proper ending to a great series. As always thank you for the great podcast Rosey and looking forward to next week's episode.

We need to get a petition started to have a #jlreunion show it would be so awesome and amazing to have all of these icons come back and do another show.
