@@lovids8704 thats good for you seriously. But its not in line with BvS or MOS so it seems out of place. The characterization if Batman isn't like the batman in BvS. The CGI is of course bad Story arcs were noticeably cut out. The jokes, some of them failed. It wasn't what it could have been whatever that was...its just not descent even for what it was...

It's still enjoyable which is the only thing a film has to be, It Chapter 2 is also a mess, but it's still fun, so, therefore, it's still a good film, the thing that makes films like BVS and MOS bad to me is that it feels like it wasn't made for fun, plus also I understand the story arcs, but those wouldn't work in the kind of rebranding the dceu was going through since they were making it more fun, which is obvious from JL, Shazam, Aquaman, and WW84

@@lovids8704 WW84 outside of streaming would have done terrible pre covid theaters. Aquaman was good and his character in Zacks trailers and his own movie weren't really different...Shazam did okay but even then it makes sense since it revolves around children. DC in DC ANIMATED movies has had movies like justice league War and justice league dark apokolips and still contained light hearted movies in the same ani.ated universe. The tone fits the particular movie. Like say winter soldier and hulk versus most of the other marvel movies even thor 2 had a more serious tone. But I suppose I get what you mean though

I’ve been scrolling through the comments looking for someone to mention this

'thought no more trailers are coming' warner bros: ride aint over yet! me: My man!!

This trailer is the perfect representation of what a mess the theatrical release of this movie was. This trailer came out a month before the movie was released and there is a ton of Snyder footage included in this that was either completely refilmed or cut from the movie. To have that much footage be revealed this close to the release date and not be used is very uncommon. That's why a lot of people are confused by what the Snyder Cut actually is. When you watch the trailer for the Snyder Cut you see a lot of footage that was included the 2016 and 2017 trailers for Justice League but were not included the theatrical release. That's why a lot of people seem to think they've seen a lot of the Snyder Cut footage already; because it was in previous trailers. I see people here in the comments saying this trailer is all Whedon footage. That is not true. It's a mix of both. It's just that more Whedon footage made it into the actual movie than Snyder's.

If we see Robin in the DCEU, it's going to be Tim Drake, and possibly Damian Wayne down the line. At this stage in DCEU canon, Dick Grayson's already left the mantle of Robin and will probably be Nightwing soon, and the dead Robin killed by Joker and Harley was Jason Todd, which means they'll be bringing him back (probably in the next Batman movie) for an Under the Red Hood storyline.

Sparsh Banerjee Some people are just sheep. Don't even have an opinion. Its why BvS failed. As soon as one critic called it a flop, everyone jumped on the nadwagon and called it a flop too. Like have u realized, some of the people that say BvS is trash, most likely saw the reviews first, and went into the movie with a fixed mindset that this movie was going to suck. Rotten Tomatoes should be eliminated from the internet. It doesn't allow people to form thier own opinions. And yeah, I wasn't a big fan of Bvs (Loved the Ultimate Edition tho) but I watched BvS on opening night. I went in there without any word of mouth and I thought it was a decent movie. I didn't follow a certain critics response, I followed my own.
