Snyder treated this Superman with an arc In Man of Steel he isn’t the Superman we know and love but that’s part of the narrative he’s a rookie when zods army comes to earth and still manages to save the planet, and the planet is divided some believe Superman is a beacon of hope and the others believe he’s just an alien that doesn’t belong here and Clark struggles with this in BVS. His arc is a lot like Jesus some believe he was son of god a savior and some believed he wasn’t and they crucified him, In BVS he sacrifices himself to save the planet and in his death people realized what he stood for doing the right thing. And in his absence the planet has gone to shit. And When he’s finally resurrected he becomes the Superman we know and love

The "interrogation" scene Black Widow had with Loki in The Avengers movie made me scratch my head on how lame it was; I understand why they did it - you have a generic non-super human with no meta powers who they need to utilise somehow because #feminism so they show her cool, super abilities to draw out information from the enemy. LAME. It was so obvious and phoned-in, that it's always my go-to argument against my friends and hubby on how LAME EACH FRANCHISE CAN BE WITH THEIR LAME FORCED MOMENTS and their LAME-ASS NON-THREATENING VILLAINS (Loki, that Transformers' wannabe Thanos; that hipster clone Luther). The only villain that has ever made me scared for any heroes was the Terminator and Alien.

Superman assumes the Clark Kent personality because he wants to succeed in his own merits without having to use his powers. In many instances it’s been noted that the Clark Kent persona is his true self in the same way the Batman persona is Bruce’s true self.

Is this film seriously trying to backtrack Man of Steel and BvS? Ya know the world was doing alright before Clark blew half of Metropolis to hell. This is like what Revenge of the Sith tried to do to Attack of Clones with Anakin's character saying 'Oh yeah believe us, he's a good guy! Sure...." No. Not buying it and fuck you for trying to pull a fast one on us, DC.

One thing that made it lame. The villain could just spawn next to the box like he was in nuketown or something. The Amazonian army stood no chance neither did the water people.

I feel they should have spent more time building their universe with other movies of individual heroes that would be in the Justice League movie before trying to make a justice league movie where half of its members have had no time on the big screen. Instead of making that Batman V Superman movie, they could have even made a movie about the origins of the Justice League members, where 20 or so minutes would be spend on each one.

I agree but you can see what they wanted to do BVS and get along with the team up movies. If they did each origin story first people would be complaining about we’ve already seen so many origins and DC is so behind. We know Aqua Man is coming and Hopefully The Batman and either Cyborg or the Flash will follow soon after.

I hate the fact that they are doing a justice league movie without green lantern and Martian man hunter I understand they are not popular to mainstream people to me it is impossible to talk about the justice league without those two.characters. Fun fact: ADD and ASD often go hand in hand. One will enhance the other in certain scenarios and visa versa. Tbh having Aspergers, and ADD... If I and Flash's powers it would be like a match made in heaven. A body that move as fast as your mind moves would be a blessing lmao.

Poor writing and timeline management seem to be the reasons for most of these faults. The Batman that helped found the Justice League shouldn't of been the one from Frank Miller's books. He should've been closer to his prime. The only way I see to fix this is either more piss poor writing, or doing something interesting like bringing in Terry McGinnes as the new Batman with that sick Batman Beyond suit. Even that would be out of the proper timeline though, so I doubt it'll happen. As for Steppenwolf...he's truly just a warm-up for Darkseid. I highly doubt anyone gives a shit about or wanted to see Steppenwolf in live action. I'm really baffled as to why they chose him for a film of this magnitude. They basically made a blatant choice to handicap themselves. If they felt it was too soon for that powerhouse to step into the show, they could've just used the armies of Apokolips on Earth while using the rest of the time to introduce Darkseid on his homeworld and fill in some backstory about him, his world, and his goals. That probably would've helped the average viewer a lot.

It's an okay film. No offense to the hardcore D.C. fans and those that just enjoyed the film but there really are missed opportunities and some mistakes that actually carried over from the previous films. The CG villain is weak.Batman, after being hang up with his dead parents is now hang up with the loss of Superman. People prepare for Flashpoint reset button if this don't go well. >Thank God they got Superman right this time. He actually saved people and his power set was used accordingly. >Great portrayal of Wonder Woman but her solo movie is still much better. >Interesting character development on Cyborg. >Still preferred a humor-ish CSI mature version of Flash rather than a comedic newbie (should have saved this one for Shazam) >Should have incorporated more underwater battle for Aquaman ( final fight should have been set near a body of water) > Batman is weak in this movie; instead of being perceptive, calculating and creative when it comes to his decisions, he's all about bringing Superman back and forming JL as if this is his last ditch effort. He didn't even used the BvS armor or even an improvement; its just more guns and explosives for him. This is not how a "great tactician" thinks.

Just saw JusticeLeauge I went into this film w/ literally NO EXPECTATIONS & NO EXCITEMENT/HYPE, due to critics/reviews & the last few DC films Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad literally made me Angry & are crap films to me. Honestly I think that helped a bit cause honestly I didn't mind the film all that much. Of course there were a few scenes that made me go hmm 🤔😐like all the Crap CGI & some stupid plot points but if I’m keeping it 💯 I wasn’t Mind blowingly bored like I was in BvS & Suicide Squad so that’s a Plus to me. & I did enjoy seeing everyone team up in live action. I was on the verge of giving it a High DoubleToasted/ Spill Rental. But there was that moment where they said “my fav quote” from a certain someone so I gave it a bump to matinee and all in all it wasnt great but it was fine/alright to me.

Batman's supposed to be the world's greatest detective. All these DCCU movies have villains that are defeated by punching them hard enough. Of course it seems like Batman is out of his league, he can't pull a Sherlock Holmes on fucking Steppenwulf

Ooooh. I'm glad people are liking Cavill's Superman in this movie...for once.

Yay, it didn't suck! I will still wait for that extended edition though. Enough of this practice of having the audience pay to watch a semi-complete version in theaters, only to release a 'director's cut' edition (that it is 'supposed' to explain a lot of things that didn't make sense) a few months later and have people pay again.

Plugged Scope Oh, WB already officially announced that they won't be releasing any extended version? Nah, I am still not going to take my chances. I mean, what's the worse that could happen? If they don't release an extended version a few months from now, I just rent the theatrical version.

It would have been better to use Darkseid here. He can actually be menacing if he's voiced and directed well enough.

As a Batman nerd I need to say... They didn't combine the themes from the 89 film and the cartoon. The cartoon intro IS the 89 theme, but I think it's from a different part of the score. Both are Elfman for certain!

They should have never had tampered with Snyders version of the film

u can tell the change of directors save this movie. the scenes we seen in the first trailers were so corny and they reshot the corny crap out of the movie

Time shows how incorrect this comment was. The changes is what hurt the movie the most lol 😂.

Girtz looks more like Flash than that actor did.

Steppenwolf CGI was so ugly it looked like claymation.

Right? He looked like a puked out remains of WB Special Effects makeup. It was so incomplete and doesn't make sense that WB can let this level of crap slide in a film as CGI

Every time Superman was on screen I just kept staring at his upper lip. It is so noticeable that its CG to get rid of the stache.

I never thought I’d be so overjoyed to see Superman return in a film, but him coming back in this film was fucking awesome! Overall, the film was pretty good - a little OTT with some of the humor and some shoddy CGI, but when it works, it totally works.

So what are we, some kind of Justice League or something?

am i the only one who agrees that Steppenwolf was doing more Ares' things than Ares actually did in wonder woman movie?? Like honestly it couldve made more sense for Ares to be the villain for justice league because they set him up in the wonder woman movie. As great as it was to see Diana overpower Ares at the end of her movie, he shouldn't have died =/ but still was badass to see diana toy with Ares like that

I like Cavil a lot as Superman. I can’t wait to see how they bring him back

Ayyyy Kumar Coleman on a side note, i enjoyed JL for what it was. went in with super low expectations and was happy with it. definitely felt choppy at the beginning so can't wait for a director's (...directors'?) cut. definitely a high matinee

Just compare the posters for this and the Avengers. The Avengers? Standing on the burned ruins of a city, everyone in a dramatic action pose and ready for combat. The Justice League? They just huddled together to make a class photo.

that thing you mention about they focussing in just the one family..i don't know if you catched this, but the whole city was supposed to be mostly abandoned. they explained how it had been a nuclear powerplant explotion there leaving the whole area off limits to regular civilans..only squaters seem to be there since they had not option..so is not a Avengers saving New york type situation. maybe they felt that basically 1 family was representing of the human factor since mostly they were all like homeless persons. in fact supes saved a building full. but then nothing else was shown in regards to bystanders..all the other building were empty i think

I genuinely get excited when this is on USA or tnt, and not any of the avengers films. I wish they weren't discouraged and make another one.

Lol you remember these Jostice league reviews before the Snyder cut. Everyone optimistic about the brightness of this movie. Now we all roasting it. It’s almost like the movie with purpose BVS was the right direction to take and is properly followed up by Snyder cut.

I enjoyed JL but one thing that I did notice after it ended was that I obviously felt that the movie was short (although that didn't make it bad)

The Red Guy I know a bad movie when I see one. This was terrible. I was so outraged with this film. I wanted to kick WBs ass and then pull out the animated series and the JL animated films. This is how you are supposed to do it. Why can't you put this in live action better!! I hated it.

The review I’ve been looking forward to.

So, the theme I'm getting is that this is the film that says "fuck you, Batman".

Let Geoff Johns and Joss Whedon take over, Zack Snyder just isnt a great director.

i had a armor that could take a punch of superman, should i use it now or not. i expected the entire movie for that battle armor, and it never showed. does anybody know what a hell whas the big guns that bruce keep talking about.

I love this movie. It was a great time happy to see my childhood hero come to life. It's a great movie have minor issues editing issues in the beginning parts of the plot was a bit messy. But all the heroes are great and fun

Just saw the film, I liked it..I also liked Barry..I agree with Martin..I also think Barry is autistic.

This version of the Flash seems more like Wally West and Less like Barry Allen, which is the only version of the Flash I actually like. And by the way, I agree with Martin as well.

7:39 The theme for Batman Animated was based on the theme for the Batman 89 movie. You played the wrong clip from the movie! Should have just played the opening titles.

My thoughts I posted on my fb page: Justice league is an average movie It felt like the combo of the best parts of Suicude Squad and Wonder Woman, but with a lot of heart and fun moments 😉 Wonder Woman - Badass of group 😏 Superman - don't piss him off, easily had best scene in movie (there aren't many) 😮 Cyborg - Good enough start 🙂 Flash - Fun socially award dude 🤪 Aquaman - Guy who talks to fish that knows how to use a giant fork 🍴 Villain = very weak. Similar to guy from Thor 2 🤢 Batman - Pretty overshadowed by other members tbh 😞 We really gotta thank Nolan for what great batman movies he gave us. Really doubt we'll see batman shown that great for years to come. Overall, this movie felt like it was saved by Joss Whedon. I'd hate to wonder what mess was planned originally. It really makes you appreciate what Marvel has worked hard to do for the past years. D.C. (and some Fox movies) has shown it clearly is NOT easy.🤔 p.s. Thor 3 was way better

One of the most Underrated KZread channels

Ive been waiting for this review more so than d movie itself

The executives at WB didn't give Whedon and Elfman enough time to do their jobs, so they could save their own bonuses. That, and they enforced a hard 2 hour running time.

LOL, they brought up Tyrese at the end!! Too funny.

I predict it's better than Suicide Squad. Maybe.
