been a fan since 09 they use to switch off every year ( it was exciting as fck) and after 2018 Larry has not moved from where he was at all its disappointing cause I thought his growth was endless, he peaked right when you thought he wouldnt hit the margin of error idk but it very hard to watch knowing what he's done 🙈 He's stuck in his own style 🥱

Thats crazy to see how my perspective have changed so much over the years. I fuq with the Les Twins, and they can dance their asses off, but it just look like the same PERFORMANCE. Shyt dont even feel ORGANIC anymore, but i understand. They accomplished everything wanted to, they have nothing to prove and have made their mark in History of dancing. But this shit is actually HARD TO WATCH NOW, its no LIFE/SOUL/GROOVE/CONSISTENCY from Larry in this battle. Thats why if i watch Les Twins anymore, i prefer to see them at a WORKSHOP, so they dont have to be in "BATTLEMODE" and they can just express themselves at their own pace!

I genuinely think Larry’s Round is what happens when you think you’re too good to improve. Anyways moving on from that With Nelson & Jin I can definitely see how Nelson wins this, I think it’s kinda on the judges to prioritize the dance over the moves but I’m not mad at the result because what Jin was doing was difficult as hell.

Him being rich, famous and also being virtually a lock to get to at least the semi's in every battle he enters probably makes him feel like "why switch up the formula" what i don't understand is it's the opposite for Laurent, he switches the formula up all the time.

it’s crazy how off larry was this round, and has been for a while now. i just don’t understand what larry is thinking nowadays. like bro do you not think you need to improve? change it up a bit? you’ve been doing the same moves for YEARS. it’s gotten to a point where i have little to no confidence that larry will win a round. his rounds are so stale, and if he incorporated a variety of movements and more groove and flow into his rounds i think he would be just as unstoppable as laurent is currently.

Larry needs to dig deeper in to his bag of tricks!! I feel that many dancers are evolving and he seems to do a lot of the same tricks that he’s been doing for the past 10+ years not that he doesn’t have anything new he just seems to have gotten (dancers block) or something lol so I feel that he should have lost this battle. Not taking away that Larry’s a beast but we need that old-school Larry back not this half pop half dance Larry he’s very stop & go with his dance now and he’s not so fluent with his dance to where he used to be which is why a lot of the times Laurent wins in battles against him. Just my opinion..🙏🏼🙏🏼

Seen this like 4x before, I knew Majid lost and he was PISSED afterwards. What I gauge from this is Larry has been in "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mode since 2020. The contrast between him and Laurent is ASTOUNDING. Every single year Laurent tweaks his style a bit, this year he even brought back the spin sig. Larry and Laurent are legends and the GOAT's, arguably the most famous dancers to walk the earth, but if they care about dominating the scene (battle or mainstream), and moving up a level somehow, Larry needs to switch it up. I think right now they need to pivot to the mainstream and choreo like they're doing with Jason and Beyonce and leave the battle scene behind.

@heni63 I mean Larry is stuck, but I mean "they" need to pivot as in they need to just focus on movies, TV, social media, music, and the stage. I think they've won all they needed to in battle scene, there legacy is solidified over there. I want them to become SUPER mainstream now, there's people steeling their moves all over the place and people don't know because the twins aren't as famous as they should be

larry that whole competition was actually so depressing to see, guess its just time that not just us, the dance fans, accept that a dancer can fall off tremendously but also the dancer themself. Like do you not introspect and see how underwhelming you are and see how unfair if it would be to win against any dancer 'dancing' like that....?

Nothing but his "Signature" moves pieced together, it really does feel like Larry is comfortable with his fame and wealth and accolades in dance. Unless he has some self reflection and goes back to trying to improve maybe he should stick to media and judging, at this point I don't think the battle scene is for him anymore.
