My issue with Junior is the same issue I have with Larry. While the technical elements they have are excellent, sometimes they have no groove or flow. Technical isolations work well on certain beats but then in hip hop there's also gonna be songs that require more bounce, groove and flow. The thing is I know Junior can flow, he just focuses too much on the technical isolations sometimes when we just need him to dance

I totally understand you, but the problem is that Junior Dance like that is his style that way of expressing. It's like telling Baloo to be more about control or isolation. You have to see the form in both senses

Also that’s not even the issue, the issue is some components don’t help ya dance if simply overused and can look off. Like the reset Junior threw that’s not expression that’s just a lack of. If he was a lot more experienced within in his dance he can traverse the floor without resetting bc that just throws off the whole round and makes it obvious that your just doing stuff and you don’t even know what you doing. It’s clear in this battle and even the past battle that Baloo dance is more consistent and compete because he understands and utilize the basics and that helps him build his round better, it doesn’t mean Junior has to have what Baloo have but things like flow, directions, musicality & groove can be worked on without a style. Their aspects of dance itself not just ones self

I kinda agree but just 70 % ! Everybody can have his own style yes and well all love it. Based on that there is just still the HIP HOP and the Foundation, Bounce, Groove, Flow and so on.. thats why Baloo teached Junior a lesson. Honestly there was just 1 round where Junior was winning, rest was completely dominated by Baloo. He is showing the new GEN there is no need to make powermoves or anything like that to be better. Criminalz Crew for example no hiphop dancers exept Rochka. The whole new generation going on Powermoves, Signature moves and staying in their same style all the time. @@scottrz1514

Ima talk my shi anyone is free to disagree or agree 🤍💯it’s all perspective if you feel like whoever approach works “for you”. This is how I see the battle which aligns somewhat to what metal rapping bout. The narrative for me is that Junior can do what Baloo do Baloo just does more or better. For junior rounds it looked like he was going a lil mellow tryna take it slow but there’s moments where it was sped it up this approach could work but for Junior his rounds felt more chopped up in segments. It felt like a lot of “moments” were happening. One minute he’s doing this and den resets and transitions into a part of the music but it never stayed consistent sometimes this would disconnect me from his round because the consistency within the music and movement were never there, it was just moments that he would sometimes drag out but it wouldn’t drag out for very long. It more so looked like he was chilling but against Baloo nah. Even though Baloo ground work be looking shitty, one thing that made his rounds stand out is his consistency in the rhythm and movement which worked way more than what Junior was providing. Especially his Rhythm, Baloo was filling up the entire song the spaces between everything within the music it felt more complete. So even if he wasn’t hitting a major beat his build up into that made sense and he didn’t need to because his movement was just more fleshed out. He filled up more space than junior while juniors was more chopped into segments instead of a continuous “flow” Baloo flowed the entire time and never reset once, once he started he finished. But it’s more than this ima stop here, that’s just how I see it for why I think Baloo won. It’s nothing on Junior that’s just what I was seeing from “these rounds”. Their both phenomenal dancers and I think Junior has a lot of potential and room for growth‼️💯.

I liked both approaches, but I definitely had Baloo as the winner by the end. Junior is dope and the presentation is clear as hell, but Baloo that and more this time. I can see why some people are saying Baloo was sloppy, but besides his second round, most of everything else was pretty clean. Yeah his floor work wasn’t crazy, but the lack of resets and consistency of the actual dance in his rounds, kinda made up for that. I would definitely like to see a rematch after some time passes.

Nah homie, the more experienced you are with movement the more you understand how difficult it is to be CONSTANTLY oscillating. Its one of those things like junior is more of a hyper realistic type painter, and baloo is more abstract, so junior appears more technical, but baloo is layering more techniques very subtly.
