You know, some times I wonder how Eggman ended up building a robot that hates him with such a passion. I know it has something to do with Eggman underutlizing Omega by haveing his be a guard dog to where Shadow was being kept, despite being built to distoy Sonic. Honestly though, I feel like there has to be more to it than that.

@@thegeth4293 I don't think Omega was specifically made to Destroy Sonic, more like the E-100 series in general was. Omega was just the best of the E-100s, so Eggman decided he should be guarding Shadow instead of fighting (this is just lore from what I remember so I could be wrong) so Omega hates Eggman bc he never really got to fight anything meaningful

Well he seems to have free will like the gamma did, and being a co bat robot eggman probably programmed him for heightened aggression But then he just got bored of him and used him as a guard dog which REALLY pissed omega off

I love Omega so much... I know that Gamma and Omega are different characters and were meant for different purposes... Hell... I often hate it when people compare Omega to Gamma... But still Omega has to be my favorite robot characther in the entire franchise. I have thought this since HEROS! Omega has a spot in my heart.

I want to inform everyone that is unaware The reason Omega hates Eggman is that Eggman assigned Omega to watch over Shadow after Shadow fell from orbit. That's it, Ogema didn't like that his assignment was to stand there and watch Shadow. Omega was designed to be able to fight and kill Shadow and in at least one timeline he did just that only now he works with Shadow because Eggman told him to watch and kill Shadow if he left the tube without Eggman there.

The best part of the scene with orbot and cubot is that, to me the "why do i have to hold him?" Feels less like "id rather not be the one holding the rouge murder-bot" and more "why do you trust me with this despite such clear temptation?" Lets be honest orbot's been put through the ringer HOW many times? Cubot might have it easier in terms of punishment because the guy is seemingly designed to be stupid (his voice chip is always messed up for example, another example is from colors when eggman is telling them to get more wisps, he asks "so we go get more aliens?" Eggman replies, "no, i want a cheeseburger and a milkshake" cubot: "That is easy, burgers are far easier to get." Eggman: "get me more aliens." Cubot: "you want fries with that?" Guy proves hes as dumb as his head makes him look.) Orbot's thinking for two and honestly i feel that i why he's "lazy." It's because he's hit the point of "why bother? It never fails to fall through so why put the effort in?"

Your Omega voice is pretty darn good. I'd be curious to see it just a little nore emoted. The vocal effect is on point too.

Question: how did you mimic Omega's... Cadence i think it's the word. Basically the time between words. Im sure you did some modifications on post but would like to know if you just put a filter on your voice or did some extra magic to fit omega a bit more

I’ll answer with everything I did to make sure I get all the bases So his modulation is a simple thing, it’s 3 tracks in Audacity, one is normal, one is pitched up a bit, and one is pitched down a bit. His mannerisms are different, that was just me speaking in a monotone voice and trying to replicate his actual pauses and other such things. I actually pulled up a compilation of his lines to make sure I got it right! So in short: Basic modulation and mimicry

@@krausercruz2780 So in Audacity, you can make 3 tracks become one using the Mix and Render tool. I had 3 tracks, and I used that tool to make it one track. Then I used a Normalize on it and it was basically perfect
