A perfect fuel system can cost a bit of a money but it will be all worth it...make sure u get an fittings and different sizes i bought a fuel pump they never sent me my fittings i was piss i learn alot about fuel systems...i love this video

Just did that exact tank on my neighbors car. The straps are useable they just need some persuasion in the bending process. Once bend they work just like the old ones.

Looks good. Same tank kit I used on my 68 Chevelle SS when I installed the Sniper EFI kit. Sux the tank fittings aren't included, it's just dumb. I think I also used the same ground spot on the frame for the fuel pump and the sending unit.

what fittings did you use? i have 2 different sets of 1/4 NPT an fittings but they only thread in like 2 turns im not sure if thats how its supposed to be? i also have the tanks ink efi tanks but for a 72 elco

@@fnaauto7282 Yes, it is 1/4 NPT fittings. They did not thread all the way to the ends of the threads either. I just used a wrench to make them snug. Since I installed the Sniper EFI I bought the Holley Sniper EFI fuel kit wich had the 1/4 NPT to 3/8 hose fittings to use 3/8 hose in the car.

Guru I got this setup , and can’t find a -8an to 1/4 npt that fits the top of the sending unit . Nut is to big on the fitting , any suggestions ?
