Miami-Dade fire fighters got me out of the car in such a perfect way that they saved me not only from dying but also to be paralyzed for life . My C1 (atlas) was fractured. I will forever be grateful to them. I wrote a letter to thank them. ♥️🙏they are the best.

Plus there’s a Bible verse that tells believers to pray in private instead of public, as true believers do not need to be spurred on by others as they should have a direct connection with god themselves.

Stayed scared until I was about 13 or so. I'm sorry you think praying to a God that didn't stop a disaster in the first place is helping. There are three facts: During the building boom in Florida during the 1980s - 1990s, Florida’s building codes were lax, and inspection was required only after 40 years. Champlain Towers, built in 1981 was due for inspection in 40 years.(New York is built on solid rock, with 5 years inspection required). Third, in 2018 the condo board had been advised by Morabito consulting engineers of substantial structural problems.

He would need to know both Spanish and whatever version of sign language they use in Mexico (there probably isn't a pan-Spanish sign language just and British and American sign language are totally different). Even if he could do signing for Mexicans it might not be the correct signing for Puerto Ricans and other Spanish speakers that could have family in the building.

I saved my own life in Florida in 2003. I was close to death. You can't count on anyone in this life. No one knew or would know that I was trapped in my building. When I finally go to the phone to get an ambulance, the attending police ignored me and were not interested in my well being. They only talked about baseball. I hope more people are found. I know how it feels except no one was looking for me or knew I was trapped and missing. MAKE SURE THAT ALL CONTRACTORS ARE LICENSED AND INSURED! THEY PUT FAKE NUMBERS ON THEIR BUSINESS CARDS. Well when you look at US standings in world rankings for education, infrastructure, healthcare, social safety nets, cost of living, quality of life, life expectancy and live births, transportation, internet speed, etc. we lag behind most developed countries. We also rank to spot for prisoners per capita and total prison population. Yay us!

Why? Presumably this building had been inspected and given a thumbs up how would those selling units know better than the inspectors?

The Powers that be already know there are many more then 4 Dead. 23 Hr.'s Later stil no new info. The first 12 Hr.'s were wasted with no one on the Pyle. Shame on Florida. Where are the Cutting Torches to cut up the re bar and the cranes to lift the Cement Flooring.

Unfortunately, they are about a centimeter thick. 😪

Evil act it was tho. The evil that delayed inspections for several years, evil that ignored the documented sinking of the ground the building was on....all in the name of money.

I just wanted to COMMEND the Sign Language Interpreter for the deaf that may see this video or who might have been there. The Interpreter was THE SANEST interpreter I've seen in a VERY long time. He didn't look stupid or goofy like so many of them do. He was EXCELLENT. He even motioned to WHOM was speaking at the time when they began to speak & pointed to whoever was asking a question & was able to differentiate, quite effectively, between the questions asked & the person who was answering the questions. He's quite good! Just wanted to complement him. I know a little sign language & his hand movements were very specific & spot on in communicating with those who couldn't hear. GREAT JOB! - Susan Burns

I was just there :( so many sad people just hoping for the best. Also so many firefighters, police and red cross members helping as much as they can! I just hope everything turns good for all of them

Something isn't right! We have 49 other states who would be happy to send additional assistance, but instead, they're bringing in foreign national search and rescue teams!?

My prayers go to all the families who have a family member... God give strength to all the families and the rescue workers....let's all stop for a minute and say a prayer for all these families and rescue works..pray pray pray. God give us survivers please

How about you guys stop praying for them and start donating them money to help them get back on their feet, it would help them a world more than prayer and would show that you truly care for them

In Agust 17 1999 earthquake in Turkey there is so many buildings collapsed and also people they survived up the 10 days . Also in Turkey buildings are all concrete. I praying for them .

My mother was buried alive twice during WWII. Once for a few hours and the other time for a few days.
