Just Deep Enough! Tim Durtschi "Let's Take A Lap!" at Jackson Hole

Спорт

I made a visit out to Jackson Hole to ski Teton Village Mid January and linked up with Tim Dirtschi. We had two great days, the first sunny and chalky, and then over night it snowed a few inches and we had a solid storm day skiing around the resort. Conditions were still thin but just good enough to have a ton of fun. Rocks were still lurking close to the surface but we managed to avoid them pretty well. Thanks to ‪@tetongravityresearch‬ and ‪@jacksonhole‬

lol looked pretty squirrely with the coverage, but still ripping! Also I LOVE watching Durtschi ski, one of my favorites.

My boys and I run into Tim every once in a while on the hill. Really nice guy and a thrill for them to see in person someone they know from ski movies.

I was there the last three days. Foggy and 35-40 degrees with spring mashed snow. Wild place though.

I saw you guys getting off the tram on that second day. Good footage and fun times. It would havd been nice to see some Griffin Post footage even though he isn't an Atomic athlete.

I love them. I’ve skied the 105, the 115, in both the 184, and 193 and love all of them. It’s super stable, charges hard but still has life and pop

Have the option of going to Jackson or red mountain BC in early march. Thoughts???

Can’t go wrong either way. Both are awesome places, if you can make the call last min, watching the weather at both will help. Like any place, nailing good conditions can make it a whole different world. And additionally you can have a great time skiing no matter what the conditions.. so enjoy your trip either way!

Less tail rocker, stiffer both in flex and torsionally, wood core goes all the way to the tip w horizon tech inserts on tip sides rather than all the way around. Over all it’s a more directional, and stiff ski, but still has playful characteristics

The GoPro cut out the sound in those last clips, and it sounded really muffled. I slapped some b roll audio over it to smooth things out a bit, but that snuck in there
