When playing around with an instrument, the difficulty in making a whole song isn't really coming up with 5 - 10 seconds of awesomeness, but rather, coming up with a bunch of them that fit together and aren't already copyright protected.

@@bentrod3405 well that’s the thing: no one owns singular pieces of music (i.e a beat or a riff). There have been a few cases where an artist could have pursued a lawsuit against another for using a “similar” kind of tune, but they don’t because they understand that sometimes people just have similar ideas or its just a coincidence, etc Reminds me of that time Yellowcard tried to sue XXXTentacion (a few days after he died might I add) for allegedly stealing a progression from one of their songs and using it in Lucid Dreams, and the lawsuit fell flat on its face because there wasn’t enough evidence and music doesn’t work like that Tl;dr: music don’t work like that, and you’ll probably be fine if you write a song that’s similar to another

You can tell hes been doing this for too long, he picks a beat and makes it better with synth, ive been a drummer/percussionist (including piano) for the past 6 years and that has really enhanced my experience learning to beat box it just makes it easier when your used to feeling the rhythm and working with it

@@RSpracticalshooting the keys are mushy because of the pressure sensitive sensors in them that allow you to play with dynamics. It'll never be like a piano because its not a physical hammer hitting strings.

I love this video because it makes me feel like I'm watching Daniel use a Synth for the first time in his life and he previously had no clue what they did. His amazement leaks through the screen.

That first 29 seconds should be it's own song man. I would listen to that on loop for Days!

OMG the intro to this video takes me back to the classic Ronald Jenkees tracks like guitar sound. I hope that man is still thriving and making music, we need him to help us through these dark times.
