Just Another Day - Trigun / Oingo Boingo AMV
Фильм және анимация
From the depths of the Studio Hybrid Vault comes an AMV I created over twenty years ago.
But in all seriousness, I recently found several of my early AMVs that I thought were lost. This was one of those videos, "Just Another Day" featuring Trigun and the song by the same name by Oingo Boingo. Before now, I only had a low quality MPG1 file, so I never uploaded it to KZread.
This video is rather dated, both in video quality and editing style. I think it does have hints of the storytelling style I tried to develop in my AMVs, even if its not always on point.
Currently I'm planning to upload more of my missing AMVs.
Please be kind in your comments. ^_^

You are a saint for finding and sharing these. My teen years were blessed by studio hybrid and the other AMV creators of the time and I had almost forgotten the joy of both earnestly matched and wonderfully dumb AMVs.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed my AMVs.
So crazy, I was literally just thinking of this AMV out of the blue. I remember watching this at Otakon (in Baltimore) but I forgot the year. I believe this was in hall down stairs near the fountains where people can enter/exit. The AMVs were considered 'main events' on the Otakon Guidebook at the time. It was one AMV that stuck in my head for a while lol. Thank you for uploading this and awesome work!
From a better time of anime.
Don't know why but this video gives me TGIF vibes ahahah. In all seriousness, I quite enjoyed this amv. I can see what elements were being conveyed for the narrative; especially with regards to the song; that I feel takes cues from the first half of Trigun(it's episodic nature before committing to a story in the latter half). Vash's journey of "love and peace" and hijinks he finds himself were indeed "just another day" for him; all the while dealing with external and internal forces that wanted to show him the cruelty of the world. While some may not think the editing isn't exciting, I think it does a serviceable job; I at least don't think it's age horribly in any major capacity. Which, allow to say I love the sync at 1:59 and currently obsessed with; along with the ending shot of Vash against the wall while the faces quickly flash before Vash fades and leaves with only the faces. Good stuff

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll admit that sync at 1:59 was one of the first things I did while editing the video.
code money amv was my childhood lol
Hahaha, wow. Just had one of those moments where I revisited this again after a while and found a new little detail. Didn't see it before but during the flashing faces I now see that sometimes you have Vash's rage eyes among the shots before it completely holds still on it. It's so subtle and yet it works. Its small things like that I appreciate in AMVs

Thanks, that's one of the things I was trying for.
Outstanding! You just earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep up the great work!👍🏾
Wow! I remember this! I thought it was lost too! Great to see it back!!! It came with a lot of memories that my brain somehow link with this old AMV! That was a surprise! Did you do that "Huba Huba Zoot Zoot" AMV by any chance? That one also got stuck in my head for some weird reason...

From the OG code monkey haha
did you change the name of the channel? wasn't it Nic something before?

Yeah, I changed the name a year or so ago when I started up another channel for my cosplay vids. I originally called the channel "KagatoAMV", but got a suggestion from Google to change it to my name when they started unifying the accounts, so it was that for a while. Having the channel name be my name didn't seem to do anything for it, so I changed it back when I created the second one.
