"You have a T-Rex?" "Say that again." "We have a T-Rex." That whole scene is nigh on perfect. The acting, the composition, classic Spielberg and of course Williams majestic score.
They spared no expense in this orchestra
Once again a perfect version of one of the best John Williams soundtracks. This orchestra keeps an outstanding reputation. Congratulations to the musicians, conductor and technical crew. The concerts are amongst the best in the world.

While I really, really highly appreciate the quality on this channel you should never praise something as “perfect’, especially when there is a short audio issue on the very first note of the piece ;)

It’s beautiful, but it’s far from perfect. There’s a lot of timing issues throughout. Their emphasis isn’t right, and it takes away some of the emotionality and grandeur of the piece. They start to get it right three quarters of the way through this performance though.

As a professional musician who has played for the SSO (Sydney Symphony Orchestra) & joined the LSO (London Symphony Orchestra) recently i know a little bit about music & i have followed this Orchestra peformances for over a decade & the DNSO are a excellent Orchestra in it's own right. This performance is to the equal of the original movie soundtrack. Their French Horn Section is superb & is a credit to the Orchestra. I hope to see them live in concert one day. They are a credit to the Danish general public & the Conductor. Bravo!!!

Well London is not far from Copenhagen, just take a flight and you are there. Copenhagen is also an amazing city. I was there recently for the PhantasymphonyII, travelled all the way from Berlin. It was well worth it.

@@Benefacez One of my cousins says about nearly everything I post that he was there When I sometimes worked for German companies I could get there but with a few years worth of coffee to catch up my odds of going anywhere were slim. Short of finding a way to move back this is as good as it gets as Western Canada is long way. I did find out it is heap cheaper to go i winter and fly to Mexico as if you are going on holiday then fly to Europe from there I am not against a niece fast train speeding me along at all.
I was 12 when this movie came out, hearing the theme still gives me goosebumbs

I was 4. It was the first time I walked into a movie theater. Seeing that beautifully rendered sauropod along with this musical score is such a strong core memory even after 30 years. I'd give anything to relive it.

Me too. It was magical.
I've played the flute for 20+ years, and I just want to say that it brings me joy watching musicians sway their bodies with the music! ❤ Adds an extra layer of immersion in my humble opinion.
Props not only to the orchestra, but also to the technical teams responsible for capturing and mixing the sound. This sounds superb!
This should’ve been played, for Michael Crichton’s funeral when he sadly passed away at age in his sixties. Rest in Peace Michael Crichton, you were the author who made children, teenagers and adults excited about dinosaurs coming back to life again! Edit: You were the most famous science-fiction writer Mr. Crichton!
What I've always loved about this orchestra is I can pick out an oboe, violin, chello, or even a triangle even when the entire orchestra is playing. All instruments are in perfect balance and no one group overrides any other. I've never been able to do that with other orchestras, but this one is consistent regardless of the piece. This was a great performance.

I have played in bands for most of my life, but the DNSO is one of the best I have ever heard. They make everything sound magical, and they all love what they do.
"Welcome to Jurassic Park".
Another masterpiece by John Williams. We are fortunate to live in his time and to enjoy his amazing music.

DR Koncerthuset's versions are truly incredible
Its so insane what some notes on paper can create when the right people and the right instruments will be combined. And how the films defined a picture where one tone give goosebumps all over the body. Thank you for the incredible Concert
As old as I am, one of the greatest movies ever made. Still is
Jeg er japansk gymnasiestuderende. Jeg elsker virkelig deres præstation. Jeg kan ikke gå til Danmark nu, men at lytte til deres præstation er min store drøm. Tak for den vidunderlige præstation
From a pure listening standpoint, this is, to me, one of the most enjoyable compositions. And this orchestra does it extremely well. Bravo John Williams! Bravo Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Ludwig Wicki!
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!! MUCH LOVE FROM USA 🇺🇸
Amazing orchestra, amazing soundtrack, amazing John Williams. Hurled me back to my childhood.
this song is one of the purest i ever eard and this orchestra did it so well i get the same taers that i got when i first saw Jurassic park as a kid
That was simply tremendous in every respect. Thank you.
How the hell do you sit down with a sheet of music paper and create stuff like this? I really am a waste of oxygen when there are humans on this planet that can create such incredible beauty.
Makes you proud to be Danish. Thank you for yet another magnificent piece. 🙂
John Williams, one of my favourite composers 🙂(John Barry being another 👏)
THIS. IS. THE. BEST. CINEMATIC. PIECE. EVER. Enough said.
Such an incredible performance! The DNSO is surely one of the most wonderful additions to youtube.
my goodness! outstanding brass section. i only single them out because i've heard more performances of this piece than i have fingers, and those horns blow me away harder than even the original recording. i'll always be curious what the old masters would've thought of this piece. so rich in melodic and thematic complexity, and the orchestration weaves and expands ideas between the sections so brilliantly. this is honestly my favorite orchestra piece along with mozart's requiem.
One of the best soundtracks ever written. Chills every single time. Perfection.
Just imagine what it must have been like to go to the theaters back in the 90's, not only to treated with something as amazing as one of the best dinosaur movies of all time, but also to be met with this amazing and timeless score! There's no wonder Jurassic Park managed to capture the imagination of generations. :D
JW is a god damn legend. 😍

Yeah my brother and I got tickets for Fantasymphony II next year. Looking forward to seeing them live.
My favorite soundtrack since I'm 4 (I'm 34), which I listen almost twice a month since then. This is an absolute masterpiece, even beyond his movie soundtrack purpose, as a symphonic piece. The beginning of this wonderful piece of music could be summarized with one word : humility (in face of the Nature). And for the rest : majesty. Thanks for this moment, I've goosebumps everywhere and tears coming up every time 🥲
It's like I am watching Jurassic Park for the first time!!
Einer der besten und schönsten Soundtrack's, von: John Williams. Bleibt einfach im Ohr!!!
wow... simply wow.
John Williams should conduct them himself. Perhaps one day we'll be that lucky! Wouldn't that be great. This orchestra are the best at representing John Williams ❤️
Williams' music, like so many composers and songwriters, brings tears to my eyes. Happy ones. There is so much passion in these pieces.
After seeing the John Williams concert in Vienna in which the orchestra played this theme flawlessly, this Danish Orchestra performance is also beautiful and brilliant as the Vienna version. Bravo!!! Love it. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.

the vienna version was like an old master at the height of his skill and control. this was the pure joy of youthful discovery. not quite flawless, but the enthusiasm and the outstanding brass section more than made up for it.
An outstanding piece of music, played by an outstanding orchestra 👌
This Masterpiece brings back so many Happy Memories. This is like an Anthem to our Childhood.... Thank you John Williams....
There's so much childhood joy in this song. I'm listening with a big stupid grin on my face, just like the first time i heard it as a kid
0:51 I like this interpretation; in John Williams’ original interpretation the strings at the beginning of this segment are a bit more prominent than the wind instruments, here it’s almost reversed making this recording pretty unique (have been loving the Jurassic Park score since the movie’s release).
That composition .. It revived me ❤️❤️❤️
Mr DNA should have cried jurassic tears hearing this ! And me too 🥹🥹🥹
Viva the Danish National Symphony Orchestra! Thank you!
This is Brilliant,Wonderful,Mind Blowing, Marvelous, Tremendous......................
The first movie I've seen in a movie theater. I was 5. It scared the shit out of me.Congratulations from Brazil.
i still remember the first time back in 94 when i first saw the movie with my father at the cinema when this melody played, it brings me chills...
Great work👍👍
One of John Williams best. What a guy!
LOVE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOUCHES YOUR SOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Personal favorite John Williams work is "Superman".
What I love about the Jurassic Park theme is it is so indicative of the Grandure of those magnificent and majestic creatures, we call, Dinosuars!
Beautifully done. I love your orchestra ❤️
I tear up every ghat damn time. Ever since I saw it as a kid in 93/94… it has stayed with me
Masterpiece...performance excellent!
I’ve watched the first Jurassic Park movie with my younger brothers for so many years (since we were kids). The intro is one of my favorite parts from movie. My goodness the Danish Orchestra played this almost exactly like the final version from the movie 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 I say almost because Mr. Williams himself wasn’t the conductor. Still well done! What a joy to see everyone playing this outstanding 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 thanks for sharing!!!
Det lød fantastiskt! Godt arbejde!
That French horn opening is so iconic!
One of the best movies in the 90s.......Unforgetable.......my childhood.......Great soundtrack anyway.....

John Williams has written some of the most incredible movie scores of all time. But this has got to be my favourite! And the Danish National Symphony does yet another great job of playing the music! I have got to catch one of these shows live!
