Hello, I do have new JURA ENA 8 and I'm supposed to do first cleaning. Everything is clear but my issue is that powder chute is full of grounded coffee so there is no space for the tablet..... Do I have to remove the powder chute and insert the tablet..?? Thank you

Dear @jiriraska146, thank your for your comment. Please do not remove the powder chute. Instead, here's what you can do. Start by emptying the grounded coffee from the powder chute. You can do this by gently tapping the chute or using a small brush or spoon to remove the excess coffee. Once you have cleared the powder chute, you can now insert the cleaning tablet as instructed on the ENA 8. Kind regards, JURA

Dear dmn9199, near the bean hopper (on top of the machine) is a small compartment available for the cleaning tablet. With the small handle on the side of the machine (0:56) you are able to open the lid. Kind regards, JURA

How often we should do total cleaning ?

Dear randytrinh86, the cleaning is required after 180 preparations or after 80 on/off rinses. The fully automatic coffee machine will indicate it with a cleaning icon. However, you may start the cleaning process manually when desired. Kind regards, JURA

It says the cleaning takes 20 minutes..but it actually took only 11 minutes..is this normal?

Do I need to empty the bean hopper or make sure there is no coffee in the machine

Dear Richard Ramirez, there is no need to empty the bean hopper. When cleaning the machine, please empty the drip tray and the coffee ground container, as shown on the video. Kind regards, JURA
