Is the machine supposed to tell me when to do the cycle or can I manually do it? I’m not getting my clean button to pop up to allow me to start a clean cycle

You can initiate the 'Cleaning the machine' operation manually at any time as long as the machine is ready for use. Touch the ; and _ symbols at the same time for approximately 2 seconds. The ;, _, L and & or ! symbols light up brightly. Continue with the first prompt (indicated by T) as described in this section.

@@idleagent Hi! My machine has stopped working, it seems not to properly dispose of the coffee grounds in the receptacle. The descaling icon is lit. I clean with the JURA round capsule before descaling with the JURA rectangle tablet product, do you think?

Trouble shooting, the water icon comes on, and nothing else works, with the Jura A 1, help please :)

Hello my tray doesnt fit anymore in the machine after pulling it out. What could be the problem?? I tried everything

Hi, thank you for your comment. This can happen if the brewing unit inside the machine has moved down. Please take the following steps to solve the problem: Switch on the machine. Pull out the whole drip tray. Remove the coffee grounds container and push the rest of the drip tray back into the machine. Wait until the brewing unit has repositioned itself. When the display shows 'Ready', the drip tray can be pulled out again and the coffee grounds container can be put back in. You can now reinsert the whole drip tray as normal. Kind regards, JURA

is there a way to force the machine to clean .. when it asked for it I was out of cleaning capsules.. but now I'd like to clean it..

Per page 38 of the Jura Instruction manual: You can initiate the 'Cleaning the machine' operation manually at any time as long as the machine is ready for use. Touch the [ONE BEAN] and [THREE BEAN] symbols at the same time for approximately 2 seconds. The [ONE BEAN], [THREE BEAN], [CLEANING SYMBOL (looks like the sun)] and [DESCALING SYMBOL (looks like wild tire tracks)] or [FILTER] symbols light up brightly. Continue with the first prompt (indicated by [TRIANGLE POINTING RIGHT] as described in this section.

Dear Eng Chow Yeo, thank you for your message. Yes, that's perfectly normal. Every time the machine rinses, any remaining coffee fat is flushed out so that the water is clean again for the next coffee preparation. Since the water from the rinses of the machine flows into the drip tray, it is normal that it is not clear. Kind regards, JURA
